Going be a noisy away end on Saturday all seated tickets gone last week so I guess all tickets will be sold
Id be surprised if it sold out. Theres only 150 seated tickets compared to 1150 terrace tickets so not surprising really that the seated tickets sold out quickly.
Majorclarkent - you may be surprised at the size of our away following. On Saturday there was about 400 - 500 at Chesterfield - following 2 other long journies in quick succession. I remember in 2008/9 when we lost 7-0 at Shrewsbury, the next game was away at Aldershot - yet we had over 700 at the game. Supply should be more than enough for demand -but expect a good turn out.
Not surprised by our away followings. Ive been to a lot of away games in the past so i have a good idea of the average gills away following, but i just doubt that 1300 will go to aldershot. Id expect around 1000 to make the journey.
I'l get canned for saying this but i think thats pretty poor in all honesty. Given that we took 1000 to oxford in october which is further. Aldershot is pretty close and IMO it will be the last time we play them for quite some time. Not so much becuase im confident that we'l never be back in league 2 again, but more that i think its only a matter of time until the shots become a non league club again.
