Ach everyone will have their own opinions on players Queensy and you and I are no different. I for example thought that Ephraim was given a raw deal but most others felt he wasn't up to the standard. Swings and roundabouts mate. I made a concious decision after the game on Sat not to say one word about the boy Tarbs because it only inflames the post-match Board, a Board that can be pretty volatile after another defeat. I've given my team choice for the Saints and I have Taarabt starting on the bench. But as I said, I don't think it would make much of a difference as this squad is bereft of any real alternative options. Still, what I wouldn't give for the boy to step up and score the winner this Saturday.
So you'd play Betty and leave Taarabt out? Bloody hell mate...things must be desperate. -----------------------Cesar---------------------- Fabio-----------Samba---------Hill----------Traore ----------------Mbia-------Derry------------------ Townsend------------Taarabt---------------Hoilett --------------------Remy------------------------- If we play 4-4-2 against Saints, who play 4-2-3-1 we'll get over run imo.

Interesting line-up. Do you think that Mbia and Onohou (wrong spelling!) might be more suited to playing 3 centre-backs, though?
I agree. Trouble is Redknapp had in playing on the right the entire time. True, he played well, but I can't help thinking we would have been better off had he been able to put a few balls onto Zamora's head from the by-line.
Wow! Envy you there mate but well deserved. No better time of year to escape Norway, and to sub it with Thailand! There really is no better place.
No plus I have renamed Onohoiha I would stand in front of Traortrreea and say one chance or in comes young from koeannnna
I don't. He had one task, save us, it was never about next season , & that is looking to be a failure. I'm very disappointed in him tbh, & I believe the solution was there to be found. PS, You alright DL?
When put like that probably not If he goes 4-4-2 I don't know where I would put him, seems a waste on the left and won't go down the line. For me, if he wants to play Remy and Bobby I'd go - Remy - Adel -Townsend ----Bobby---- but someone posted on here bobby might be injured, so your setup would look good
I believe he joined us around 18 games ago and he earned us 2 wins out of that. The performance has not improved significantly and there are only 11 games left which does not leave him a lot of games he can prove his class. I believe only a restart next season will show some improvement but the current season is already wasted. I only enjoyed the Fulham game but the rest was pityful. Most of the Players are technically inept, slow and lack any sort of passion. I cannot see huge differences from early season to now and we never seem to create any real threat upfront. There are only 2 exceptions (AT and Townsend) that impressed me so far. They gave back some hope that the R´s can Play Football but they had the skill with or without HR, so no achievement from that side. I am a positive man but have lost faith in both Team and Coach. Never mind, I will be following them in the lower Division as well and can happily wait another couple of years before they will return...
Very harsh to call it a failure. With the team he inherited, the position we were in it was always going to be a long shot. We've had no fit strikers and the one signing he banked on then went and got injured as well. The main thing we lack is confidence and the fixture list hasnt allowed that to build recently. Now we are heading into potentially winnable games. If we can nick a win on Saturday and start to get confidence and momentum then I think it is possible. I still think we can do it and that Reading, Villa and Sunderland will go down. We've come through a difficult period in the fixture list No reason we cant beat Southampton. They leak goals and have overachieved as newly promoted sides often do. I think that being a newly promoted side they have got that bounce that comes with it which is worth a few points but if we beat them on Saturday would only be 7 points behind. With all the plaudits they've been getting you'd think there would be more of a gap then that. No need to have a dig at Arry. Let's give him a fair chance to get things right.
He's fair game IMO, and I reckon he played his cards shockingly in the transfer window. 20 mill spunked and are we stronger? Are we ****. And he should have managed Cisse & DJ better, why the hell did they leave, but Betty remains who can't get in the team instead of a man on one leg. There's plenty more I'm not impressed with, but that will do for now. If he's staying next season , he needs to pull his finger out
