Never said he's a better footballer. Johnson is techniquely far better, but being techniquely good and being effective in premier league games are 2 completely different things. For example take Jonathan Walters from stoke, lacks ability, but is able to score goals and create goals with his power, strength and no how.

I don't rate neither McLean or Johnson very highly, but between them there's not much difference when it comes to being effective, and in my opinion I'd rather McLean.

Lets not go off topic here, i thought we were discussing Mcclean's so called unpredictability?

As for Adam Johnson, he has been under par i will agree with that but hasnt the majority of the team? As for putting decent deliveries in the box he has 4 assists so their is your answer to that question.

Let me ask you this question, how many goals have we conceded from Mcclean running straight into someone, loosing the ball and us getting caught out at the back? i.e West Brom at home or nearly costing us the game at Wigan away?

Yes, Johnson hasnt set the world on fire but replacing him with Mcclean is idiotic. I think a game on the stands would give him a kick up the arse but i would much prefer the combination of Sess and Seb on the wings as opposed to Mcclean.

Sess and Seb has got to be tried and IMO is the only way forward if were going to play 2 up top. Both Gardner and Rose are decent at over/under lapping and getting forward too. Sess will tuck in and let Rose bomb on. Its the only way forward for me at the moment.

MON has to take a lot of the blame for Johnsons performances in my opinion, play more attacking football and get the ball forward a lot more and quicker, we will then see the best of our forward players.

I'd sooner play with 10 men than play Mcclean. He isn't good enough to play EPL and is destined to be a championship player in the next 6 months imo.

Johnson is an England international who is having an indifferent season but who is still our 3rd top scorer, top assist maker and best option on the left. Imo of course.

Micheal ricketts was an England international. Johnson got picked for the national side due to playing for city.

The team being below par? Yes.. But players with real quality have still shone through I.e sess, rose, mig, fletcher, oshea. These players have consistent quality.

I rest my case if you think O'shea has shone through. The man is a good organiser for other but his positional sense and distribution are some of the worst ive seen. The frightening thing is we are even worse without him. As for Sess, last few games he has but prior to that he was well below par.

Im kind of writing this season off already.

I don't think we will get relegated because LUCKILY there are 3 worse teams than us. The only thing I can really luck forward to is the derby, and even that I think we could fail at all.

The problem with our team is Bruce ruined it, and MON has to rebuild. This is his first full season in charge and he is trying to play his football. Unfortunately he hasn't got a great squad yet.

During the summer we will see another rebuild & sale. Once he has the right players then we will do well.

Regarding AJ. He is not sh*t, you don't play for England & City for no reason. He is merely being effected by the sh*t quality around him.
Next season once he has better players around him you will see a difference.

So he was at man united for 10 years with bad positional sense?? Lol... You say he's a good organiser, but how can he organise well with a bad positional sense?.... Have you ever played the game before?

He is a good organiser for others! Many a manager has been a **** footballer but a good manager. He is good at dishing orders out, yet how many times has he been in no mans land when we have conceded? hence, his **** positional sense. Read the post again! The "S" may have been missed off due to my iphone's predictive text but surely you are not ignorant enough to insinuate i was suggesting something else?

As for me playing the game, yes i have. Have you? considering you reckon Mcclean is unpredictable!

Also, as for playing for Man Utd for 10+ years, he was surrounded by 10 world class players who could bail him out the ****. Unfortunatly at this club, he is playing with a lesser calibre, hence why he has been bollocks!

Well if he don't know where to be himself, how can he be a good organiser for others?? So he organises the team infront of him, but is clueless of what he's actually doing himself... Keep going mate, you are quite the funny chap.

What a load of ****e mate - you don;t play for Man Utd for over 10 years if you are **** - eve with the other world class players around you. You still have to have quality to be able to play for Utd at the highest level of world football for 10 years. To say he only played cos everyone else is good is bollocks

    Spot on Marcus.

We look totally at sea when JOS isnt playing at the back imo. Yes he has made mistakes but then so do all the top players includiing Spanish, Brazillian, Italian and German ones.

I'm happy to see JOS as our CH for the next 2 seasons at least as he is hardly ancient at 32 next month is he but he needs better than Brambke, Killgallon or the invisible Brown alongside him? Hopefully we will see Kadar Mangane soon and be able to judge him better.
