Laudrup: "I can only repeat what I have said earlier. My intention is to stay in Swansea. Right now I have more than 1 year left of my contract, thats the way it is." "I know how things work, I have been in football since the 80´s, I live with it, and know that it will come up every thursday on the press conference until the season ends. Even if i signed a 10 year contract there would be rumours"

And his agent: "The club wants to extend the contract, and Michael is very happy where he is. It really isnt that complicated is it ?"
