Just a little ditty to let you know the Scummers down the road are expecting to beat you R's at a canter this weekend, as well as abuse 'Arry. Will your team kindly wear your shirts with pride and beat the pony fiddlers!
Hmm, I think that's the atitude that brought our downfall against Swans at start of season but then agains Swans are rather good at present and ......... Thanks for the heads up anyway and good luck to you guys with all you are facing. You will find plenty of posters on here wishing you well.
Thanks for your thoughts guys, I think I will have to take my boots with me this weekend and make an appearance on the subs bench at this rate........... Thanks again
Its seems so long ago that we won the FA Cup, played AC Milan in the Europa League at Fratton Park and then played Chelsea the following year in 2009 losing to them 1-0 after Kevin Prince Boatang(who scored with Sully Muntari for AC Milan last week to beat Barca 2-0) missed a late penalty........now we have been asset stripped of close to £200mn by a bunch of no goods intent on recovering an Israeli debt of our previous owners fathers and stare extinction and or League 2 in the face. Another minimum of 10 points to be deducted this season that makes 29 in all so far, despite the PL and FL proper persons tests! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKGCkC97n4g
Brutal, and completely unfair on supporters. The 'fit and proper person' tests are a joke. They allowed Flavio Briatore, a **** of the highest order, to be our chairman when he was banned from Formula One, which is pretty corrupt at the best of times. You should sue the PL and FL for negligence/incompetence. Good luck, you deserve it.
Sadly, what has happened to your proud club is a fate that will be shared by many over the coming years. The world has gone mad simply because the big boys want it all and good old Uncle Rupert is happy to oblige by chucking bucket loads of money at them. The rest of us get bought up by guys who want some of it and are happy to jeopardise the club and the fans who love their club so that they can bask in the glory of it all. All the best mate but just remember this. However bleak it may seem, there is a way back. Look at Swansea, Burnley and Bradford. The first two came back from the dead. City are starting on the journey back as we speak.
I see what you did there. I had a mate over from Sweden training for a triathlon and he was shocked there were horses all over the place. we have a great record at SMS, lets hope it continues.
I just want to see the players have a go Get three or four bodies in the box when a cross comes in I would rather see us lose 5-3 than 2-0
Actually, there are plenty of football fans here who would be wishing Southampton the same were you in Pompey's situation. You are not really in a position to gloat just yet since your own PL survival is by no means guaranteed. Nevertheless, thank you for your insightful contribution based on all the quality articles you've read in The Sun and The Daily Fail.
To be fair, I've always wished the decent Pompey fans well, as it's not their fault I just find it astounding that clubs haven't learnt from it, and to be honest even if we do go down, we'll be in a great position to bounce back, can you say the same about your club? A few similiarities about QPR and Pompey: 20,000 seater stadium which is only reguarly filled in top flight. Twitchy as manager, making ridiculous signings on ludricrous wages for a club of that size. Rock bottom of Premier League with no signs of a great escape. Your attendances will fall next year and with your wage bill you will be in deep deep trouble. Don't get me wrong, I don't want the skates to go to the wall, although the state they are in,might be better to just form phoenix club, with their fanbase they would be back in FL in no time. Like I said I just find it amazing that despite their plight, clubs like yours seem to be making the same mistakes.
Aww aint this sweet. I'm sure Cork and Schniederlin are quaking in their boots at the thought of comming up against Sean Derry and Jermaine Jenas. And how will Luke Shaw ever be able to cope with the blistering pace of Wright-Phillips
Are Southampton and their world beaters safe from relegation now? I've not bothered looking at the table for awhile!
What is it with these 'so called' football fans these days? Gone are the days when you would just hope to beat a team and worry about your own club. Sadly now it's full of ####s that want a team not only to get relegated but go bust as well. Both these Swans and saints fans need to look at their history before wishing i'll of others. Today Swans line the streets celebrating a cup win but only 2-3 years ago so did Pompey? Sunday they had 30K at Wembley but look how many 3K gates they have had. Not long ago Saints were is deep trouble finacially trouble and were relegated. As i said before to another 'so called' Saints fan that when they had their trouble it was many QPR fans on here that wished them well. And when i read tosh like this: I seem to remember a 'top flight' game at the Dell against QPR when the gate was 15K and there plenty of empty seats in the home end, maybe you didn't go but i did. These 'so called' fans are not real football fans and would desert their clubs at a drop of a hat. QPR fans know exactly what Admin/buckets are all about and it's not a laughing matter. WE stuck by our club getting 16K gates in League One as well as having a fantastic away support and i am sure if things go wrong for us we will do the same again because we are 'real fans' not 'So called' fans. So before you wish i'll on others, just remember if a club like Leeds can fall then i am sure Swans/Saints can as well?
