There are worse 18561.5/1 bets around than that one. Quite like some of those. If the 6 at Cheltenham all oblige that will be some wait between then and the Guineas though!
I think if the festival picks oblige I'll be laying JTJ on the day to be fair! Though from what I've heard, if she turns up she wins. and I don't get the stake back so your odds, I think, are just out!!
Good luck with the acca George - it's good to dream with someone else's dough! Rapido De Ladalka Catt 3-20 was fancied to win the abandoned Eider Chase (well by me at least!) and should take this easily. Coupled with Valoroso 4-00 Leic and slung in Carmela Maria for good measure. Good luck to those ignoring the "keep your powder dry" advice
Did you purchase yours when he had the offer on ? I did and it came with a free lapel badge declaring Nicky, Nicky forums favourite trainer.
Unfortunately, I missed the 'special', but the flag was good enough. Now have something to wave instead of having to make excuses later...... Well done, Bluesky, on your two winners..
I wish that were true SwanHills, sadly Spin again got beat a head into second. I did still manage two singles and a double on Entrapment and Boteen so must not complain, but the treble would have been nice. Great price for Boteen actually as he drifted to 5's from 11-4 due to the fav being backed off the board. If I am honest however he should have beat me and but for William Carson pulling the Fav to the outside I am pretty sure he would have done, so feeling quite fortunate. I have backed the Roger Charlton horse Sibaya 11-2 in the next as the favourite is far too short in my opinion and so makes 11-2 in a four runner race a good bet to take him on.
That's Carmela Maria done for the season. Looks to have spat the dummy out a bit. Dropped back to a distant last before running on again strongly at the finish. She'll go back to other tracks now with her blinkers off to get her mark down again and they'll go back to Catterick next season. No doubt in my mind she's more than capable of winning off 93 when in the mood though. That fall seems to have knocked her enthusiasm quite a bit.
She was never really in it Roto and went off at 10/1. You said the price wouldn't last, is that due to the yard having a plunge on her?
Landed the e/w at a nice enough price. He could not hurdle for toffee but he will make a 3 miler one day if he sorts that out.
Sorry I screwed-up on the Spin Again result, Bluesky, but 2 out of 3 and damn bad luck for the treble, was still a very good effort...
You lot are hopeless! Willie Wumpkins ...three times winner of the then equivalent race to the Pertemps Final...1979-1981 Anyone even remember him?
