I say that’s a lovely picture of Mr Henderson sat underneath a tree in that ‘Guardian’ article. Certainly worthy of framing and putting on the wall.

Mr Henderson was one of many, many, many trainers using tranexamic in this way at the time of the Moonlit Path incident yet seems to have been castigated for this by so many whilst all the rest emerged unscathed. The fact that he was the ‘scapegoat’ for the whole industry was Wrong with a capital ‘W’.

Up to this point Mr Henderson’s reputation was beyond compare and it is testament to the man that since 2009 he has once again emerged as the most popular figure on our racecourses with the most honest reputation to boot.

Racing has moved on since this incident emerged and it would be for the best if we put it one side and concentrate instead on all Mr Henderson’s wonderful achievements rather than one incident where he was simply one of dozens in the wrong and as the article says he ‘took one for the team’.

Name and shame Sir Barney, if you're so sure.

George, it would take me until tomorrow to type up all the trainers names. But as the ‘Guardian’ article hints there was an awful, awful lot in Lambourn alone. Incidentally, Mr Main was not just a vet who did work for Mr Henderson he worked for loads of other trainers in the area as well.

Needles to say I think we shouldn't get into this too deeply. (Sorry).

There are other great trainers/jockeys who have been "disgraced" at some stage. Best to dwell more on the good points I think.
