Sissoko ia an absolute animal! It s a long time since we had a player like him in our team. I still cant believe we signed him for £2.5million. What were the rest of the Premier League clubs thinking of when they dithered about signing him. I think we will be talking about this fella for years to come..

it's more about the speed with which Carr moves with transfers... just look at Cabaye too.
    Top drawer... completely top drawer.

Im guessing this is what riled Wenger, he would love a Sissoko and probably wanted him on a free come summer, cheap twat. Purely conjecture, of course. He looks amazing and built for the prem, Ive always had a preference for that position/role on the pitch and a lot of my favourite players are DM/box to box variety. Cant fault it, just a really really really good signing.

    £2.5million, chicken feed.

If he keeps up his current form and determination he's going to be the bargain of the Century.

MA's going to be rubbing his hands together at all the new tops being sold with #7 on them.

Absolute bargain. I am really happy that we are looking at getting value for money with our signings. I think the rest of the prem must secretly be quite envious at the business we were able to do in jan. And some as the doc mentioned not so secretly envious (or gracious for that matter) like mr whinger.

Unbelievable when you consider him and Gouffran were 3m between them - granted they were nearing the end of contracts, but when you consider one of them has either scored or assisted 6 goals (not counting assists to each other) since they've arrived is even more impressive - once Ben Arfa is back we will terrify defences!

I worry that we will see a lot more 'hands on' owners like Tony Fernandez n Abramovich simply wait for us to be linked with a player and offer £3m and 20k a week more - lets be honest, of all our recent signings (Obertan n the kids aside) who can you think of that would be 'a waste' if you tag a couple more mil to their price tag? Cabaye £8.5? Sissoko 4.8? Even Anita at 9.2m doesn't seem ridiculous when you look at the likes of Jordan Henderson or Joe Allen!

    a fair point JWAG.
more clubs will be focused on this when (allegedly) FIFA fair play rules come in.

It was Florian Thauvin that was the subject of a £2.5m bid.

    Sissoko did cost just £1.8m.

Supposed to have waived a signing on fee in order to play for us.

Kind of player you just don't see too much of.

Sissoko can reach Cabaye's level in a couple of years, that's how good I think he is.

<laugh><laugh> exactly, put Ranger & Gosling in the shop window, seeing as they are soooooo damned amazing. Any sensible team looking for the stars of tomorrow should snap these two up right away. About £25m double deal should do it.

    ****ING **** OFF!!!!

Lets take look at the players we've sold.

Carroll - 35mill, what a joke. An offer like that should always have been accepted, considering our entire first team costs less than that
Enrique - he didn't want to be here any more, so good move to sell him. And we got 6mill for him, bargain imo
Barton - more trouble than he was worth
Nolan - fat, wouldn't fit in our system
Ba - wanted out, we had no choice re release clause

They're the only first team players we've sold, all of which were the right moves

WOULD EVERYONE STOP SAYING WE SELL ALL OUR BEST PLAYERS!!! IT GETS ON MY TITS SOOOOOOOO MUCH AND I WANT IT TO STOP! WE ****ING DON'T, AND ANYONE WHO SAYS WE DO/WILL SHOULD GO AND THROW THEMSELVES DOWN A VERY DEEP WELL

Sorry for the rant, bu i just feel it needed to be said
