(Not been on for a bit and apologies if someone's already posted something similar) Despite time moving on, in my mind I can't see Nigel managing any other team.... Makes me wonder if Nigel would be good as the new Pope...? A job that demands energy, positivity and inspiring a generation.......?
I keep trying to imagine the job that would suit Nigel. He made it to the PL, but think the only way he will get another PL job is to get a team promoted, so he needs a team with good players and some finance. He'll never get a team as perfect for him as Saints, just as we got a manager perfect for us. Thanks, Nige. P.s. He can't be Pope as he is too fond of afternoons of love with Mrs Nigel
As far as I know, Nigel has never shown a predatory interest in Young Boys (of Basle), so he's not really qualified for Pope.
There is nothing in Roman Catholic doctrine that says a priest can't be married. It is merely custom. I know an Anglican priest who was married, and converted to Catholicism because he didn't agree with women priests. He has been a "Father" for years now. Mind you, becoming a cardinal, and then Pope might be a bit beyond our Nigel, but you never know...
Did you see his premiership win record with us.... Nigel Adkins will be selling horse meat burgers at Blackbush market within weeks. Fingerless gloves and a cheeky scouse grin. Happy with his patch.
You've insulted Nigel, Blackbushe Market (Horsemeat burgers are being sold by your Corporate supermarkets, NOT local markets - Buy local) and called on a foul Liverpudlian sterotype - Is no one safe? Oh and impersonating a dyslexic too - you could have sneaked in a spelling error to be more coninvcng!
Sorry Chilco, but as a good catholic boy, you're only half right. If the man is from another church - like an Anglican Priest - and are already married with kids and convert to being a Catholic priest then yes they stay married (and keep the kids!). BUT, there are rules about the wife not being a divorcee etc.If a man WAS married and his wife died (ie no divorce) or they had their marriage annulled (no sex before marriage), he can become a catholic priest. If a man has children and no wife for the reasons mentioned, once his children are 18 he can become a priest. One of the pre-requisistes for a new priest (ie not from another church) is celibacy and clean living. I'm sure Nigel fits the clean living bit, but he did used to be a footballer........ No 7 PS I stand no chance as I have been living with my other half and step-daughter for 17 years....but I stand true to one of the main Catholic values - no sex before marriage....she's been married so it's ok
