I have said a few times that in my opinion RM, Hoolahoops, JR and Holty are the beating heart of the club as regards the players, but the joy on Snodgrass's face at the final whstle makes me think that he has now really become another one. I know the result was massive yesterday and that followed by England beating France made the perfect Saturday.
You are absolutely right. You need a spine of the team and there are a lot of big hearts in there. Kei's introduction is an injection of fun into the backroom which is awesome. Snodgrass has been consistent and just works his arse off. He is an absolute joy to watch. The marauding runs. Did not take any **** from Everton yesterday, basically started a fight with all their players. Completely fearless. Theres still a long way to go and a long time to change my mind but the two names in my head for player of the season are Bassong and Snodgrass. Both have been excellent for very different reasons. But I'll probably just vote for Kei Kamara because he's so damn cool haha
Snodgrass' game has changed a fair bit this season. Early in the season he was making no runs with the ball at all. Now he's running with the ball quite often, and doing it successfully. Proof to QPR that to change a team's performances, improvement in training is the cheaper and better option than wasting millions on a new player.
Definitely. In my list of names first on the team sheet, he is currently top after Bunn. His head never goes down -- things not going well seem to make him even more determined, and he demands the ball. Pilkington should follow his lead more IMO; a Snodgrass on the left as well would be great!
Seb is pure class and he and Turner have just hit it off thought Garrido was back to himself yesterday as well which helps a great deal
pmsl at david moyes boy he wernt happy .. sometimes footie just fooks u up the ass lol.. well done yellows
A comforting thought is that whatever happens shortly between Saints and the Toon, we'll still be a minimum of two points clear of at least one of them - if that makes sense? Sorry, can't think straight, I've got some nerd strumming a Polynesian ukulele in the flat next door - it's doing my noodle in
It might be a stupid question, but what is a Polynesian doing strumming a ukelele in Cromer in the middle of February?
haha yeah, he got some afters for that as well. He didn't give a **** though. Pienaar kicked the ball away from Snodgrass as he was going to take a free kick in the first half and he said "you can go and get that" Another classic yesterday was when Bassong finally had enough of Fellaini and picked him up and shoved him off the ball. Don't **** with Bass.
Turner was my man of the match yesterday he cut out everything and anticipated every move Everton made.
I think it would be hard to choose a MotM yesterday. Bassong and Turner were immense, but so were Martin and Garrido. So many players raised their game when it was needed. Howson looked a different player, Johnson got stuck in as he always does, but Snodgrass impressed from beginning to end and Holt was just himself, working hard making it happen. I know it was only 30 minutes and 16 seconds (eat your heart out Moyes!), but Kamara coming on changed the game. Everton suddenly had to defend deeper and you could sense "who is this guy?" going through their minds. During the interview afterwards I loved the way he said 'I have a secret, well it's out now, I can jump for headers". Have a look at this! http://www.itv.com/sport/football/a...hat-kamara-is-living-up-to-his-dvd-showreel/? He can really jump! (I love the CB's stunned expression!).
totaly agree about snodgrass, he ran bassong close for mom, and you can see he how much he wants to win
