Hoopsa is probably buried in a lab somewhere so I'll post on his behalf. After finishing pretty high in last years prediction league, I find myself just above the relegation zone this year. Reason being, last year I predicted with my head while this year I have consistently gone with my heart in the belief that we have to win at some stage. I have now dispensed with rash predictions and am instead going to go with league position and form. QPR 2 (Adel & SWP) Utd 1 (Wellbeck) COYRs
Lawro has an interesting take on the game in his BBC Sport preview, however he still predicts a United win, and I find it difficult to disagree... Loftus Road is one of the most difficult places to go in the Premier League. It's not because it's intimidating and not because their home supporters are baying for blood - it's because the pitch is so tight. The ground is a little suffocating when you play there. What Hoops manager Harry Redknapp has done against good teams is to deny them space and make it difficult. There are very few grounds, especially new ones, where you feel the crowd so close to the pitch. QPR gives the 'best' feeling of that. West Ham does too, although you do get a little bit more room. However, if you're a full-back it seems at times that you're with the front row of the stand. I do think United will find a way to win at Loftus Road, but it'll be tight. He reckons 2-1 to United. Whilst I would love him to be wrong, I'm thinking this is likely.
Everytime I back our team against a big gun ............. we shoot blanks. So, I'm doing a 'George Constanza' ................ Man U by 5 !
This seasons big win, 3-2 like against Liverpool last season. QPR 3 (Taarabt, Mackie and Townsend) v ManYoo 2 (RVP and Hernandez)
