Shame we got knocked out tonight, the players tried really hard but it's a shame Gerrard and Suarez couldn't convert their chances. Zenit came and did what they had to do and credit where it's due they did a good job.

Anyway, now we can concentrate on just getting a good run going in the league. <ok>

What did you make of tonight's game? :emoticon-0103-cool:

I know you lost 3-1 but it was the almost perfect home performance.

Wishful thinking? I don't think we have the squad depth to win Europa. Relying on only Suarez alone up front again, would be better to go out now than have to play a few more games.

Rodgers said that the crowd would play a big part tonight but he forgot the very important part that this online forum is doing.

I can't believe we actually managed to be potent in front of goal!! It's the first time in ages we've dominated AND taken our chances. 5-0 last weekend, 5-0 tonight (and all goals coming from open play this time). This looks to be the turning point - Here's hoping Downing can bag another couple on Sunday <ok>

If the referee had given that stonewall penalty in the first half it would have been a very different game.

Who knew Carra had a left foot volley on him like that? 60 yard screamer! Mental, would never have predicted that before the game.

Was that Muppetfinder General who streaked on the pitch and took a **** on Rodgers shoes?

Rodgers then applauded his fantastic work rate and how he couldn't have asked for more from MFG.

The worst part was when Downing got a red card for lifting his hind leg and peeing on the goalpost.

It's a shame really, you were doing so well until Hulk scored and then it all went downhill.

    Oh hang on...
