Still interested as to the touch screen in the middle of the controller. Also glad they just kept it PS4 and not orbis or some strange name. Yeah never got the Halo obsession either, I did have fun playing the 3rd with my mate but that was it
COD and Gears kind of took over but for a long while people drooled over that game. Think that is another reason I love the PS is Metal gear series and Resident evil series. The geek is strong with me today
Big year for that series. Rising just came out, Ground zeroes probably in the summer and MGS5/phantom pain probably with the release of PS4. year of the snake and all that.
I havent played MGS since the very first one, don't like RE. The first 2 gears were good but 3 sucked.
Really? I think each one got better and better and they kept the story fresh and didn't overcomplicate it too much, still think the last one MGS4 is one of the best games ever imo. RE now is action action but the original 3 were very good ( and Code veronica). They are going to be rebooting the series so shall see how that goes.
I'm PS3 as well Bluff! Although I've really bored with the COD series, we're being taken for mugs a bit. I hold out hope for a died ferment tack on the PS4. The sample games graphics looked impressive enough. Be interesting to see how more developed the multi media is on it too. I originally bought PS3 because of the bluray. In addition i Would now want a hell of a better browser & link to media applications which have just kind of evolved on the ps3. Heard on the rumour mill that Microsoft had got in ahead of Sony with deals for Sky etc. think that will be important too.
Not over here! Another game to look out for is The Last of Us, looks like an awesome game and the watchdogs trailer at the event looked sweet as well.
I may give them a go I remember really liking the old one. You have to remeber I stopped gaming for more than 10 years.
The thing is that most games that made Playstation great are no longer exclusive to Sony, console choice purely comes down to preference. Metal Gear and Final Fantasy have dipped their toe into multiplatform so unless Sony start throwing money at them not much will change. Also, no backwards compatibility again?! I happily pay £35 a year for a service that is almost never down. I just need to see if Watch Dogs is also coming out on the new Xbox.
When I got my Xbox 360 I was unsure whether to get that or the PS3. I'm very much a Playstation fan but had never owned an Xbox before and it was £100 cheaper! The main thing I find irritating is not being able to play Gran Turismo
Tried Forza? can be played as an arcade racer or a realistic one. I think they are also developing a new Project Gotham Racing for new Xbox.
Yeah, I got Forza but its not as good IMO. One of my boys as since lost disc one for me too Been on Formula One instead (2010 season)
