I find it ridiculous when I see players turning their backs to a ball when in the wall during a freekick, or using their hands to defend their face.

You're getting paid in a week what the average man makes in 2 years, just get a black eye or a split lip, it's what your ****ing paid for.

This is why I don't agree with all these things done for the safety of players, like the game becoming less and less physical, types of challenges getting banned etc.

The safety of players should be important, but not the only thing that matters.

If anyone in our team decides to do a ***gy little turn or decide he doesn't want to get in the way of the ball, then I think we should fine him wages because it can cost your team a goal. You're getting your money, and you're supposed to put your body on the line for a result.

The only body parts you would be given lisence to defend with your arms are your cock and balls. Everything else, even your arse, belongs to the ****ing club. Bitch.

i completly agree on this, all stems was that goal the other week that wouldnt have gone in if not for a fairy reaction to someones free kick

Never the less these players know this Tash, they dont need to be told. The only difference is when someone is about to shoot a ball directly at you up to 90mph, Its only a natural reaction sometimes. For instance if i told you im going to shoot you and shot you, Guranteed youd do some matrix manouver to avoid it, Even tho there is no chance of that. :)

    Gruesome but true

TBH should men be wearing cups in football for this exact reason? Kick to the balls? np with a cup. Free kicks, No worries.

Buy a cup, run around the block with it on and then tell us how sore your groin is? and also what 90+ minutes of it would feel like.

Their job is to get split lips and black eyes? Somebody get that legendary defender Amir Khan on the phone <laugh>

Why do they have to fine the players anyway? Why not just drop them if it's a problem for the manager? Losing a match fee and a chance to play is surely more effective than the Champ manager 2 week fine (b***** always complain... Screw you Marriapa! Thinking you can come to training whenever it suits, then getting pissy because I fine you).

I have an amusing story re-cups. When I was playing for my local cricket club's midweek team, I hadn't as yet bought the adapted pants with a pouch so the cup rests nicely in place... As a result, I had to discreetly pop it back in place whenever I faced a delivery... Occasionally it would slip out of my pants and straight down my trousers to my knees, and one such occasion, at the end of an over, I struggled for 10 minutes to wrench is up and back into place at the non-strikers end... Except I'd horribly miscounted... We were on delivery 5, and I was in fact at the end due to face, and everyone was waiting and watching me in this feet...

I bought a pair of adapted pants after that...

It's OK suggesting that a cup should be worn, however spare a thought for those of us who are blessed in the region in question.

I went for a suit fitting as my lad's getting married in March and the nice young tailor said " Now then Sir, which side does one dress on ?"

Having then put the tape measure at the top of my inside leg he blushed, gasped and stuttered " Forget my question, I think Sir may be more comfortable if we made the trousers baggy at the kness ".....:emoticon-0105-wink:

If this was the case , Colo would've been fined so many times over I can't count.

In any case, I personally would faced shots if it were a competition. Can't say the same about friendly matches for me . But then players like Colo are guilty of shying away over and over again, and the worst part is it results in goals against us.... Damn

If it's just a friendly then yes, but if it's a PL match or an important match of any kind, you should be putting your body on the line for results, that's what you're payed for. If you getting a back eye means we win the game, then you get a black eye.
