Give it your best shot; Manchester United - Home - lose Southampton - Away - draw Sunderland - Home - draw Aston Villa - Away - lose Fulham - Away - win Wigan - Home - win Everton - Away - lose Stoke - Home - draw Reading - Away - lose Arsenal - Home - lose Newcastle - Home - win Liverpool - Away - lose Possible 36 points but by my calculations yield no more than 12 and I think I am being realistic. Even turning a couple of losses into draws and the odd draw into a win won't get us out of the bottom three. How do you all see the last few months panning out? Am I being too harsh?
Manchester United - Home - draw 1-1 Southampton - Away - draw 0-0 Sunderland - Home - Win 1-0 Aston Villa - Away - win 1-2 Fulham - Away - win 0-2 Wigan - Home - win 2-0 Everton - Away - draw 2-2 Stoke - Home - win 2-0 Reading - Away - draw 3-3 Arsenal - Home - win 1-0 Newcastle - Home - win 3-0 Liverpool - Away - draw 0-0 27 points but until its over i still think we can get 36 points and i don't give a flying ****
Manchester United - Home - lose 1-2 Southampton - Away - draw 1-1 Sunderland - Home - Win 1-0 Aston Villa - Away - Draw 1-1 Fulham - Away - draw 1-1 Wigan - Home - win 2-0 Everton - Away - lose 2-1 Stoke - Home - win 1-0 Reading - Away - win 1-2 Arsenal - Home - lose 1-2 Newcastle - Home - draw 1-1 Liverpool - Away - draw - 1-1 I think you can get to 20 pts, but these are my predictions
So we don´t lose another game DT? - I really hope that white jacket is firmly fastened - because you are dangerous!
The difference between us crazies is belief ... Football I never went to a match thinking I would lose and back in the 90's in the team i played in we didn't ... even in the veterans team now and we only play for charity its the same. We have to go into every game now thinking we will win, The team has to think that and we as fans have to do also. I believe we will be in everyone of those games above and anything can happen there are 36 points left we should aiming for all of them
aaaahhhh belief,.........first you speak of mathematics and now of your belief, the eternal optimistic. You should commended and commited. Would you be willing to bet that QPR will not lose another game this season, I think not. So when we went into the first Swansea game thinking we would win, how did you feel when we were spanked 5-0 did you hold the same level of belief for the succesive games?.....if so you should be a evangelist preacher in the southern states of America.
It is all very well being confident and maintaining belief, but extremely difficult to carry it through when you're not one of those actually taking to the field. Given Dave's confidence and belief levels, as well as his being part of an invincible veterans team in his time, I can only wish that he was one of the Rs eleven on Saturday.
Manchester United - Home - lose Southampton - Away - draw Sunderland - Home - win Aston Villa - Away - draw Fulham - Away - win Wigan - Home - win Everton - Away - lose Stoke - Home - draw Reading - Away - win Arsenal - Home - lose Newcastle - Home - lose Liverpool - Away - lose I hope the last 3 games don't hurt as much as they look like they could.
Go on then, results rarely work out how you expect, but I'll give it a go: Manchester United - Home - lose 0-2 Southampton - Away - draw 1-1 Sunderland - Home - Win 1-0 Aston Villa - Away - win 1-2 Fulham - Away - draw 2-2 Wigan - Home - win 2-0 Everton - Away - lose 2-0 Stoke - Home - win 2-1 Reading - Away - draw 1-1 Arsenal - Home - win 1-0 Newcastle - Home - draw 1-1 Liverpool - Away - lose 3 - 0 19 points......here's hoping!!
The key games are the five after Man Utd, 10 points or better and we'll be on a confidence boosting run. We need to beat our main rivals to have a realistic chance, sadly, I can't see us doing that...
