Right..So enough of the OT stuff, been a nice distraction for a bit but lets get back down to bussiness.

    Next Up Man Utd.

What ever you may think of them, they have been the top team in this country for the last 12 years( at least).
They have a great team ethic & will never lay down. I dont rate ALL of thier players that highly, but as a team they are THE force to be reckoned with.
    As for us,
We have a few players, who on thier day can compete with thier opposing numbers, but seriously lack the team ethic so prevailent at Man Utd.
So do we play for the draw & have a lone striker, OR as I, Col & few others believe, go all out with 3 up front and try to put them on the back foot.
They wont like the atmosphere and if we can get a decent start maybe we could hang on for a draw or dare i say a..no cant tempt fate.
I reckon we start with Zamo, Remy & A.N.Other and get through to half time still in contention. that will be where 'Arry earns his crust.
I think Samba, Mbai & Traore are all musts....reckon Harry will start Tarbs & hopefully Hoillet, and just go after them.
not sure Derry is capable of shutting down Rooney or even competing in this one
Dont think Fabio can play can he?

For all the highs and lows of this season (& the past 16 years), I just want to see us have a real go at them & if they pick us off because of it, then so be it! Having said that, is anyone concerned about goal diffrence

Been a **** season, but I love the fact my/OUR team is playing the best team in the country; regardless of the result..(well almost regardless). these are the games I live for.

I'm hope our fans will create a great atmosphere and get behind the team & maybe give them that little extra push when needed.

I want us to have a go at them too mate. But Harry has seemingly adopted the Sparky philosophy of containment. It is bloody painful to watch. I will support and sweat blood to support the Rs. But I won't if I have to watch this crap week in week out. If we go go down, this is what grips my **** like no other. Is that we go down without a fight.

If Harry applies the same tactics on Saturday he can have my three season tickets. I didn't work for a months salary to pay to watch that ****. I worked and payed a months wages on season tickets expecting to be entertained.

Normally this game would be one of the highlights of the season but I am dreading it, it could end up like a turkey-shoot. It just wasn't meant to be like this...

I feel your frustration nines. It's been an absolute nightmare sitting in my seat week in, week out and watching us get either outplayed by average sides or conceding all possession and territory by parking the bus. I won't be at all surprised though if Harry does just that on Saturday. We tried to park the bus at Swansea and got hammered, so I would really love to see us give it a go on Saturday, possibly with a 4-1-3-2 formation. Let's at least go down fighting!

If we are playing to win ............. and we should be, we need two up front.
The biggest issue we have faced to date is that we haven't been playing two on the front line.

How the hell are we / can we win a game against anybody if we only play one up front.
It is just like saying .........." we really don't want to win, we'll settle for a draw, otherwise, we happy to lose."

Harry MUST get the team thinking ......... WTF .......... let's go for! We just might snag one.
Otherwise ................ send us down, now!

Chests pumped out and the very best fixture to start this series of important games ... Of course we on here should be 100% united as we face the sternest of tests

We have had a great holiday on here and I sense a real brotherhood growing as it should be regardless of results

I would love us all to go into this one together as a team and a club that runs through our blood

    We are QPR

We may be nine points behind after this Saturday but that shouldn't phase us a gritty performance against one of the best football teams in recent history and that will be enough to smash all in our path

I pray this soaks into everyone on here now ... We are written off let's catch them all out and show them what we can do

I ask for a united board

I like the second one Col... where are the 2 lads we got from Spurs? Are they injured or is it an oversight on your part? Hope it's the latter as I see Townsend as a must start

I have no idea what the line up will be but if Carrick plays then he is the one that needs to be stopped

Nice to see Carrick getting some recognition outside of Old Trafford.

I have no idea who Fergie will go for in this game, if I had to put money on it I'll say Fergie will play our strongest side, he'll want to embarrass City by wrapping the title up as early as possible, it's just weather he takes risks with players that could end up detrimental to our Champions League fixture.

I don't see you lot getting hammered, it's going to be tight I reckon and a draw wouldn't surprise me, but that's not a massive deal for us as I can't see City getting 3 points either.

Carrick is a rock. Having said that, I would not be too surprised if its a draw, or dare I say it a tight home win. We'll see.

Sadly can only see a 2 nil win to Man u. We have no goals in us no matter what formation we put out. The only person that could change that is Remy but it he fit? I like the new signings but still not enough firepower to win us games

The same way as half the clubs in the PL win with only one up front, most teams are playing one up there at the moment.

Nothing wrong with that Col, personally I'd put Hoilett on the right and play Townsend, I think he could be a good player but pretty much what we should looking for to begin the game. If we go behind bring on Bobby and move Remy out to the right.

Maths? Did anyone know that it is possible for QPR to be in 13th place if we were to beat Fulham on the Monday night. Yes of course we would have needed to win all four games prior to that but its the other fixtures that are interesting:

OK maybe not probable but it is possible:

Do you know.............I completely forgot all about Townsend. Yep, swap Mackie for him mate. You're right about most teams playing with one up front, but they get all 4 forward players into the box and switching around, just like we did in our Championship winning year.

Know what, I completely forgot Townsend too. Another who must start.
Not sure if its in place of Mackie but need him to offer up something. Very impressed with him so far. looks a great capture. Is he permanent or a loan? cant remember!
