Great set of fans... They were congratulating us after the game in Munich in May when we were on the tube to the airport... Hope they win the competition. They deserve it

Bayern are the Club we should use as a blueprint for the future. They have a logical method of buying players and only go for those who fit their style of play. The team builds each year to a long term plan, so they never chop and change and alter their style. They play attacking ,technically excellent football, with a reasonable number of non "break the bank" players, and most importantly, they play as a team and for the team. A lot to admire, and I hope and expect them to win the CL. They look to have all the class and especially the steel, to beat the Barcas and other "pretty" football teams. Good luck Bayern, a class act.
A bit of a myth built around Bayern. They swap coaches a lot too, and have big internal power battles between Hoeness, Beckenbauer and Sammer etc. A very well club run commercially, but because they are so much bigger than any other German club they get all the best deals

I don't think that's a very good chant, to be honest. Cole only won the thing because they lost so it shouldn't be something they want to shout about. It reminds me a bit of QPR trying to taunt us with Thursday night, channel 5. 1, they wish they were in the Europa League. 2, we're only in the Europa because their supposed rivals won the CL
Arsenal and West Ham fans joined in together singing anti-Spurs songs apparently, so cringe. I hope Chelsea never do that with another team.
But then they have won it 4 times so I'm sure they'll sleep at night. So it was as much a dig about Arsenal never having won it as anything. I think you have to admire a German team ripping into an English team using English, can't quite imagine it the other way around somehow!!

Arsenal fans could arguably sing it back to them. Though it would probably be better to have come back with the Drogba chant, until they remember all the times he destroyed them as well and got the better of them in Cup finals too.
