I've always wondered why the clock stops dead on 90mins. Why cant it continue so we know how much injury time is left? It may also stop idiots from leaving the game at 85mins because its a life or death situation that they leave the car park first...
Once again it's so that the fans don't get wound up if more time is played than announced. The amount of added time can be increased further by the ref if somethings happens such as a substitution during added time. Apparently if it reached 96 min when we were expecting 95 min, we would turn into a ravening horde.
