Davie Charlton off Strangeways: his total lack of movement and silky skills would surely replace the void since Caleb left and his response to the ref and officials would be priceless!!

That guy was brilliant. It was like a slapstick watching his pants fall down when he got out of his wheelchair.

I think Geo would be crap in this league. He only showed this class in the big games and would get lumps kicked out of him every week.

Another vote for big jan here, he'd be an excellent option up front at this level.

He might not be up to playing for us any more, but he might well be able to help us out with a loan player who can.

Obvious choices would be Turner and Hunt. But I wish we could turn back the clocks on Barmby and get another 10 years out of him.
He can be the most influential player on the park today, imagine what he could have done...

Turner, i'm still incredibly bitter about him leaving. how about Mark noble? Wouldn't mind him in the midfield now.

We'll see how he does when he comes with West Ham to the KC next season. Doubt anybody will be in for him over the summer.

For me it'll have to be Turner. If i had some more choices it would be Deano and Campbell as well.

Yes i know he's not liked by alot but he was terrific for us in our promotion season, as were the other two.

    I'm picking 3.

JVOH is exactly the sort of target man that we've been craving all season. I know if I were a defender in this league a front two of JVOH and fryatt would scare the **** out of me.

Ian Ashbee is just a living legend for city who I'd welcome back with open arms. Plus he'd beef up the midfield and help to coach the younger ones. Still got an extra year in him imo.

Michael Turner is obvs always gonna be mentioned. Imo he's city's greatest ever player. Never put a foot wrong (well apart from the 5-1 mullering against tottenham, and even then gardner made him look class) looked comfortable no matter which league he plays in, is a tank, scores goals and his reading of the game is almost perfect. A poor mans John Terry one could say.

No question about it JVOH, a holding forward is what we desperatly need to get the goal count going again. Would have said King, if he wasnt such a ****.

Paul Anderson for me, not that he ever played for us out of the youth team/reserves as far as I know, would give us another option out wide and from what I've seen of him he has a lot of ability.
