Why is it in every game I've seen him play this year, Alex Bruce has to come off with some kind of injury around the 70 minute mark? He'll be playing normally, then put in a tackle, go down and hobble off. Then we'll hear his father say "well Alex has a hamstring there" or "he's taken a knock to the shin". Then next game he's back in the starting line up again! I think it's something to do with making himself look more like a battler by putting his "body on the line" to keep him in the first team set up (he's not a bad player, so I don't mind him being in the squad) I think Saturday's game was the first time I've seen him complete 90 minutes since near the start of the season, so: Can we guess when Alex will be coming off? Just a time in the game, or perhaps you think he'll make the full 90? Personally, I think he'll come off on 66 minutes and we'll go to a flat back four.
If any of the centre backs get crocked, I dont think we will have any other option. I dont fancy seeing Fathi play there!
Funny that group around me been saying the same for a few weeks now, normally does it when making a sliding tackle blocking a strike on goal, no need as he's playing ok, compare him to Chester who just gets on with it without fuss even if someone goes through him Anyway 65 mins blocking Rhodes
This reminds me of the old golden goal tickets you used to get at Boothferry Park 59 minutes 18 seconds
57 minutes he'll get injured, the trainer will come on, then AB will do his dramatic little hobble/run thing that he always does. 64 minutes he'll go down on the floor waving to the touchline and will have to come off.
