A group of us booked coach travel to Wembley, but some have now won free travel on Capital One Cup convoy coaches. The original seats are non-refundable, so we're hoping to sell them on at a reduced price... original cost was £29 per person return, so we thought it would be fair to sell on at half price, so effectively 12 people get half-price travel.

    Tickets are in pairs:
1st pair is for 1 male and 1 female
2nd pair is for 1 male and 1 female
3rd pair is for 2 females

It might be possible to change the tickets so 2 males could travel, etc., but simplest would be to sell to someone who could use the tickets as they are.

    PM me if interested.

Official bus tickets are supposed to be non transferrable so am not sure if you can sell them on easily unless you give full names of all original travellers. I know some who booked and paid early and then won free travel with Capital One but who now can't get a refund. It's not Ugo's fault as he was taking bookings straight after we got through against Chelsea and had filled 25 buses before he even heard of the free buses which are nothing to do with him. He has paid in advance for all 50 buses that have been booked so no way can he give refunds, seems there was no communication between him, the club and Capital One over this.

I can now see chaos ensuing next Sunday when many who have won a free trip won't turn up for their original offical bus and those stewards like myself will be waiting well past 8am for non existant travellers. Also the official buses are leaving from the waste ground across the road from the stadium whilst the free Capital One ones will be going from the car park at the stadium....how many of the thousands travelling will know which buses are which....I do hope someone will point out the difference and just to add to the problems the weekly Sunday car boot sale is still due to take place at the stadium.

What a shambles Sunday could turn out to be. I wonder what time the free coaches are leaving because if its 8am too then chaos could ensue.

Libertyswan, the only thing you can do is leave at 8am. I ran a coach for Ugo for the Reading game and will be Sunday too. As far as I'm concerned if you're going on a coach to
a cup final you won't be late. I waited 5 mins last time but this time I'm leaving 8am on the dot.

I agree that Sunday is likely to be a complete shambles, and I also 100% agree it would be unfair to expect Ugo (or anyone else who's already paid out for coaches) to offer refunds... although one of the early announcements about the COC competion did suggest that fans who had already booked coaches would not be at a disadvantage, and I think Bradford are actually refunding fans who had paid...

We're trying to sell on some of our tickets at half-price to people that do match the original booking, so there shouldn't be a problem with people using the tickets. However, I guess there's very few people that haven't already arranged travel, so unless this price is now low enough to tempt people to travel by coach not car, we may well end up with the situation that not all our seats are being used.

However, we'll definitely still have some of our group on our original coaches, so they'll know whether or not the others are actually travelling, and those coaches won't have to wait for us. The COC coach situation is a bit trickier though as the 6 that have won travel are spilt across 3 coaches... I'm not at all convinced that any emails will be passed on, and even if we physically call in at the stadium to pass on the message that some aren't not travelling, I'm still not convinced that it would get through to each coach. And although I will at least make an effort to make sure that we don't end up with coaches waiting for us on Sunday, I guess it's quite likely that not everyone will do the same. I suppose, as somone else posted above, all the coaches will just have to assume that if you're not there by 8am then you're not travelling...

For info, the free coaches are leaving at 8am, although you're asked to arrive by 7:30am. They plan to stop at Leigh Delamare on the way, and get to Wembley by 1pm.

Any idea yet what the schedule is for the official coaches? Are all of the coaches likely to arrive at Leigh Delamare and Wembley at the same time too?!

I also read somewhere that no one would be out of pocket regarding the winners of the free travel who had previous booked else where . I hope that includes all parties concerned
I would assume that there's been some communication between all the companies concerned regarding the services .CoC are planned to stop at Leigh Delamare which is only 1 hour 40 minutes into the journey so I would imagine that the half point would be Membury at 2 hours 20 minutes so hopefully it'll balance out otherwise the service areas are going to be chaos

Spoke to Ugo on Sunday and he catagorically stated that despite receiving several phone calls from those who had won free bus travel he would not be refunding the fares of any who had already booked with the official travel club. What I would ask is that anyone who decides to go with the Capital one buses who have also booked with Ugo would take the time to inform him so that stewards are not left waiting unnecessarily. When we played Reading we weren't given instructions on which particular service station to stop at on the M4 so we decided to use the Reading services as we thought it would be a bit quieter than Leigh Delamere or Membrey and it was so will probably do the same this time.

Can I just add to JulieF that if she does manage to sell on the bus tickets she must give full names of all those on the list to travel not just the person who booked as each person is listed and will not be allowed on the coach otherwise, these are the instructions from (Mrs) Ugo.

Well it would appear that the only winners in all of this are the ones who were going to travel by car (and then won the free travel).Of course the monies cannot be returned unless those spaces booked are refilled .A bit of a shambles as good as the gesture was by Capital One it should have been offered straight after the Finalists were known .It must be a nightmare for the coach organisers
