OK people I need some advice / help here.

On Thursday my Gris are competing in a dance festival and it is a qualifier for the Regional Finals for the All England Dance Championship.

On Thursday, Toon play in Europa League and it is live on ESPN.

Which do I watch? Do I be the good dad and show my girls the kind of loving support that could make their day (you've seen the films)? Or, do I grab some tinnies and take the rare chance of a quiet & peaceful house to really enjoy a Toon match without interruption?

Help me, you're my only hope!

 

Sky plus the game and do both mate... But stay off the forum so you don't know the score.... Or.... Get your last to video the girls..... And watch it back later.

I was just going to post the real score everywhere, all over this site and spread it around social media websites until eventually you're lass innocently notices it on twitter at end of the dance-off and tells you... But your idea is so much better!

 

Family are forever, football is just for 38 games a season.

Tried to do the same one summer a while ago. My daughter had an afternoon house warming BBQ that clashed with a televised match. I avoided the telly, avoided the radio, threatened anyone with death that mentioned the football. Managed to get throughout the whole thing ( which was very nice ) and was walking home to watch the recording, when...........
I passed an old lady who was standing at her garden gate talking to a young lad who was out riding his bike. The lad was wearing a NUFC shirt, which considering that l live in a small village just outside Cambridge is not an every day thing. As l passed them l heard her say...........good result for you today, your team won didn't it ? Or
something along those lines, to which he replied........ Yes.... 3-1.
Now what were the odds l wonder of
1. My passing another NUFC supporter in the 15 minutes it took me to walk home?
2. The above discussing the game just as l happened to pass
3. The fact they disclosed not just the result.... But the perishing score as well !!!!
Still enjoyed the match, but not quite the same when you already know the outcome.

Obi you know the girls come first, and good luck avoiding the outcome.

get someone to disguise themselves as you and go to that dance thing, freeing up time for yourself. If it works you have a replacement on standby, if it doesnt, some guy gets arrested while you watch the game.
