What a joke and shambles. Who is running this country the Police or Sky ?? :embarrassed:

When the fixture was changed from 3pm to 12.30pm months ago We were told by West Yorks Police that it was set in stone for safety reasons blah blah blah. Now sky want to show it and it can be moved AGAIN and for a time 2hrs 20mins later from its orginal ko time. :steam: :steam:
You simply cannot make this up. The news that only 1500 tickets are available for the Udders game to city fans and ALL city fans must travel on Tiger Travel. Yeah fuzzies as if thats going to happen. <laugh>

As for the Watford game being moved to a tuesday night i would gyuess that Sky are also interested in showing that game Live as well. Shame really as more Watford fans would have come up for an easter monday ko than a tuesday night ko. TWT as always though.

I like the idea of boycotting game and filling Huddersfield's bars and pubs. I'm well up for that!

We'd have to ensure literally every single fan doing it behaved immaculately otherwise the police's actions would be justified. And they would try EVERYTHING to get a reaction from the City fans who did this.

filling the pubs is a bad idea as it will lead to bother, and the police would then have something to point to... There will be some idiots who drink too much and get too loud - alcohol does that.

We should just keep well away and make the point even more profoundly.

Best advice is to bombard the Police Commissioner with calls, emails, and media requests. The media requests will escalate if this story gathers momentum.

Someone should write to terry geraghty asking to stand up for the residents of his city.

I'd rather someone persuaded him to stand down, rather than stand up.

I think his response would be most amusing.

JUST BOYCOTT THE GAME FOR THOSE WITH SKY SPORTS. <ok>

In fact, Would it be better if Hull City as a club refused all tickets and said that nobody should travel officially from Hull City. But This could only happen in football and without any justification for the action.

A boycott sounds good in theory but at this time in the season the team needs every bit of support they can get. A flat atmosphere at Huddersfield might mean a flat performance and valuable points going astray.

Do udders and FC play each other in rugby league? We should campaign that they receive the same treatment.

OR everyone should buy tickets, go to the game, invade the pitch before kickoff and refuse to move. That way we are making a point and stand against sky too. I'm sure millions will tune in to watch a few thousand people sitting on the pitch, yeah right.

I think that they would fully understand why IF such a boycott happened. The Fuzz need to be shown up for what they are. Utterly clueless muppets.

IF i go i shall drive. **** the fuzz. Simples. <ok>

The police have tools to enforce this, firstly no one who is on htfcs database in the home end and secondly hand out match tickets on the coach... I would wait before you start booking any trains with a sod it I'm going attitude...

Is is possible to buy home tickets, and flood their stands? Or would that be a total disaster?

*I'm not actually being serious with this

The Police cannot enforce it. Human rights and civil liberties. They are playing with fire here. If they dont back down then a 100% boycott by ALL HULL CITY FANS should happen.

Its on the tv so at least we would all be able to watch it. In fact, The KC should open all the bars and show the game and reduce beer prices for the game. At least it would help swell the SMC coffers with much needed cash.

Don't spoil the debate by posting rubbish that people will take as fact and make themselves look stupid!

The human rights in issue are QUALIFIED rights that can be restricted by laws, in this case the relevant football legislation and safety laws.

A post like that just makes us look uneducated and desperate. If you want to protest, get your facts right (or just go support Hull FC).

The action should be lawful (it is), proportionate, and necessary. It is the latter part of that we should challenge, not just shout toss about it being unlawful and not enforceable!

Do shut up with your rubbish ^^ this. Its not enforceable. However, IF i go i shall drive and park away from the ground. In saying that i may also save money and stay at home and watch it on sky. Maybe this is what ALL City fans should do. At least it would show the west yorkshire Police up for what they are.

The action is heavy handed and with no justification.

    Care to explain why? Please??

    Even try to explain?

You might even add some sources, or law to help show you are right.

Good look driving. Not sure how you will get hold of a ticket to drive with.
