I hope the fans are going to get behind the team better than last Tuesday night against a very in form Blackburn team, I know it was cold but i thought the fans just didn't get behind the team enough and it could make the difference, As a player it must be nice to hear your own fans making a lot of noise and cheering you on. I know were a strange lot some games it really is like a library and then others the fans surprise and really get behind the side. The games at Christmas against Leeds and Leicester are a great example of how the fans can be and for these last few home games we as supporters have to treat them like massive games and really get behind this very good Hull City team. With every game we are getting nearer and i know we won't win them all but the atmosphere could make the difference
Couldn't agree more but the East Stand really need to be singing as one because at the minute it isvery disjointed with two different chants going on at any one time
ahh the divide between the Ulltras and the Gooligans (not sparking debate by the way, just stating that seems to be what it is.
Being as careful as care can be. Though that is what's happening, two 'factions' shall we call them, starting 2 different chants. If everyone could vocally sing one song at the same time, that would Echo round the KC.
I sit in E7 and the number of 'supporters' around me couldn't sing, shout or just get plain involved if their arses were on fire.
Lets face it most fans can't be bothered or think they are at the theatre and sit there waiting to be entertained , the only noise some people make it to berate their own players
Was thinking on Saturday if we could get the ultras and gooligans getting joined it would be ace, I stand in th middle of themp
There should be no reason why the East Stand cannot sing together! I sometimes think I might aswell sit in the west stand
I join in with both, leaning towards the ultras, even start some of my own, but if we can all get together it would be great
Some of the Ultras songs are embarrassing ok it's noise and at least there trying but trying to fit Jimmy Saville in nearly every song is getting right on my tits!
I must admit i am normally in E6 but last Tuesday took my daughter so changed to E9 and every time i shouted or sang this older bloke in front turned around and give me a mucky look, this didn't deter me in fact i tried to sing more but i did think he was properly thinking " i wish you would shut up" were as i was only trying to get behind the team and i looked at him thinking " i wish you would start singing" but he never did in fact he looked a right misery
I've noticed the last couple of games the entrances to e1 through 3 now say unreserved, a move towards this ?
The same sort of thing happened to the lot around where I sit in E8. This bloke, looked about 30, who was sat a couple of seats to my right, decided to go apeshit when we had been singing that 'Gedo Fathi Elmo' Lip Up Fatty chant, and told us to all (this is a direct quote) "Shut the **** up you stupid hooligans, there is no need for it in a place like this!" I'm sorry, but isn't chanting at a football match normal? Especially in the East Stand? If they don't like it, go sit in silence in West Upper...
