It would appear Owen Coyle is looking for the "right club for my next management job" and I would like to propose that he be seriously considered for the Leeds United job, once our current manager 'leaves'. From what I have observed, Coyle is a manager of many talents and whilst it didn't work out for him at Bolton, it clearly did at St Johnstone and Burnley, so he should be considered on what he has achieved and not so much on what he didn't with his last club.
If we want someone who is areticulate good with staff has a very down to earth attachment to the fans look no further than Adkins.Plus he brings out the best in youngsters eg Beckford
Unless I am missing something, we are Leeds United and Beckford is a Leicester City player currently playing for Huddersfield. There are a few Leeds fans who wanted him to return to Leeds during the last two transfer windows, but he hasn't and probably will not. So again I ask "Why Beckford"?
coyle is a donkey who got lucky one season, i wouldent trust that snake poyet after last time and brighton are no great shakes it has to be adkins, i am so disapointed with warnock i desperatly wanted him there but we are a selling club now and the new owners are a bloody disgrace !!!
I'm going to have a guess that somehow you and the lad who posted the initial response, think that Beckford being sent to Scunthorpe on loan in 2007, should be stated as being a master coaching session by Adkins. Talk about being way off the mark....
You finally got there. You'll note, if you choose, that instead of introducing straw man arguments, I solely responded to you about someone else's post. I made no claim to its veracity
