Feel bad for him. His last injury, this injury and his general ability, I don't see him lasting here.
What? He only dislocated his shoulder...rugby players would have popped it back in and played on. ***ot footballers.
Really feel bad for him, Injuries are really ruining his chance of settling here. He's got great movement and link up play, just lacks the finishing, i think that's got more do with the pressure of having to score his first league goal and also getting usurped by Sturridge to the starting 11, remember he was initially brought in to be a starter.
It's a shame. I think with time and games he could be an asset . Don't see how he can be criticised when he's hardly had a chance to settle. Downings taken a long time to cement a place (even though he doesn't do much ) so Borini at least deserves that opportunity.
Just noticed you sent me a message (left it on my wall) about closing that Joe Allen thread ages ago. Effective MOD work (queue predictable remove MOD comments)
borini needs to man the **** up, ive stated here before i played 15 minutes with a collapsed lung ffs
I hardly ever notice a PM never mind a wall post! I'm assuming you put it on my wall because you was using the phone app? I tried to send Ze a PM before and it went on his wall.
I snapped a tendon in my ankle which is not repairable, I've been playing in pain for five years so far
Playing amateur footy is very different to playing premier level football. Even small injuries will make you unable t play effectively a that level. The fitness levels of prem footballers is insane. I have friends who played even youth footy at pm clubs and they said the fitness is so high that to keep at that level takes so much out of you.
I don't dislike him, I can see the positives such as work ethic and positioning so I would put him in the Lucas mould in that he needs time to develop learnable (made a word up there) skills.
