As far as I can tell, despite his constant inferences to the contrary, Pardew retains a disdain of everything but the premier league, like most mid-table/lower-end managers. Thus, I can see us playing the kids in Europe, maybe getting humiliated because our kids are pretty cack, and then playing our better players against you lot

Think the Newcastle Mascot that day was a kid from Southampton that had chosen to support Newcastle for some reason, I was talking to his dad who had no idea what the reason was except that the kid had always had a soft spot for us.

Would take a draw Ben Arfa will be back against you alongside titoe cabaye and sissoke, maybe guti and sissoke and cisse. If Southamhampton play a clean solid game and stop us playing the ball to sissoke and ben arfa (cant see that happenin) then id be happy with a draw Cant see past us winning this 3-0 anyone know if gourfran is alright for this game
