They've never given up, really put a shift in. Irrespectiove the result, we have been beaten by some unbelievably excellent forward play, and excellent defending. But I don't think wehave been ambarrassed at all, I think we have acquitted oursleves better than in many many games this season
Has to be one of the worst performances of a side in the Championship against a EPL team. Poor management, tactics, man management and player performance. Nothing of positive to note and should be the last game Warnock is given as Leeds manager. If Man City went up another gear, as they are very capable of doing, we would be looking at a 7 or 8 goal defeat.
I'm sorry, but your opinion is utter bollox. Most of the City players have played in 3rd gear, hardly braking sweat. Don't attempt to gloss over a very poor display, the days of old have long gone and no Leeds fan will buy that kind of bullshit anymore.
Well I can't put any gloss on this performance, we were LUCKY that Man City never had to get out of first gear. Amazed at how poor Austin played, what has happened to him, Warnock keeping White out at LB??? Diouf and Varney might well have not been on the pitch the amount of times they lost the ball without being under any real pressure and Morrison for Becchio, I am lost for wards.
I can take no positives from this game whatsoever. I presume you're watching this whilst drugged up to the eyeballs?
On a serious note, we need some goals in our remaining matches. It's difficult to see where they may come from. We're creating nothing and no Becchio to grab a few
Utter shambles, we are **** and there's nothing much else to say about that performance and our football this season.
Code: The question to ask your moaning selves is, what the hell were you expecting from today? When you saw that £200m side line-up, at their own ground, against our £2m side, what exactly was it that you thought we would achieve before the match? Name a Leeds player that did not put a shift in and try their best throughout that whole match.
You seem to not realise that the Man City players were clearly playing in 2nd or 3rd gear. We offered nothing in the game, I don't think we had any more than 2 shots on goal throughout the game. We had no width and didn't appear to have any real tactics. I'm struggling to see why you feel that there was anything of positive to take from this game and perhaps from the whole season. Your comment at the end perhaps says it all, preferring to look at players who "put in a shift" rather than players with technical ability and speed, or a team that works together and knows what they are doing. Warnock has the same belief that a physical player who gives 100% is better than a player who can beat two or three players and create something, it's bollox and I would suggest 99% of Leeds supporters know this.
But it's no different any day. Can't you see that? One point from last nine and ninety percent of our games this season have been ****e and not improving. It's not moaning, it's fact. It's ****ing awful to watch every week
