In the North east we have first hand experience of what its like playing those bigoted bastards, we played Celtic in a friendly in the 60's and it was mayhem , and it was the same when Newcastle played Rangers in the Fairs cup - all sorts of trouble. To my knowledge, nothing has changed in Glasgow, look at the trouble in Manchester a couple of seasons ago. Lets leave them both where they are in their own little bigoted world.
It barely matters what we think, there's one simple overriding factor please log in to view this image I'm willing to bet they both get in, in some capacity -Aug 2014, how does 'The UKPL' sound?
I reckon it proves the real motivation of Green taking over at Rangers. The plan was always to get into the English league system. I really think its a bad idea. I don't want all the biggoted nonsense that follows these two clubs everywhere. Keep it in the Scottish leagues. we are doing fine without them.
Perhaps the destruction of Scottish football is infact a reflection of what is fundamentally wrong with the religous associations of these two clubs? Who was it that said "Divide and conquer", Julius Caesar? Divide and destroy would be more apt and Scottish football is a perfect example. We are hopefully entering a new era of knowledgable human thought free of bigoted religous dogma, so long Celtic and Newco Rangers.
Complete & utter bollocks. The mayhem in Manchester was caused by the failure of the big screens that the city council had set up & the heavy handed tactics of the police who I have absolutely no sympathy for that day. I do however agree that they both have bigoted fans, they are though only bigoted towards each other. Have a nice day, .
what happens if the scots vote for independence? would they then have to leave? or could australian and canadian teams come and play here too?
Have to agree with a Mag for once. If you thought the McClean saga was bad, it would pale into insignificance.
Yes I have, lived in Sighthill, Red Road & Shawlands & not once had any iota of bother directed towards me apart from from asylum seeking filth. Only time I ever encountered the English/Scottish thing personally was when a bird I was seeing at the time father called me an English ****. Water off a ducks back mate. It was just anger. You do what you have to & crack on. Things are only offensive if you're offended by them. Then again, I wouldn't tar all Celtic/Rangers fans with the same brush. Generally I find Glesga folk very down to earth & perfectly fine. Hope this helps, .
No no no never. Charlie Green is a ****ing idiot. Sexual discrimination FFS.Is he having a laugh?? Let Rangers join the Belgium women’s league then. Thin end of the wedge imo and would pave the way for a Super Euro league and the demise of the EPL.
I remember that game against celtic - I was standing next to a celtic supporter who was so p****d he didn't know the score.. however he was also great fun and no trouble.
Shouldn't even be under discussion until the Scots decide if they still want to be part of the United Kingdom.
