Agree it's probably rubbish. That 'statement' was most likely a response to a direct question aimed purposely to get a headline.

Reporter: "so Mike, would you sell if a mega rich oil tycoon offered you utterly crazy money for th club?"
Mike: "we'll, yeah, I guess so. Who wouldn't?"
Reporter: "Boss. Yeah, I've got us a story for tomorrow's paper!"

No different to you saying "I'd never move house, I'm perfectly happy where I am" (me) "Not even if I offered you £2m?"

 

We won't be... Yet... When we know the extra income from next year More will develop..

TBH I hope that if an Abramovich type tycoon bought us, he's actually in it for the long run. I don't want us to do a Notss County or a Malaga
