This thread might be a little early after our FA cup defeat, but this game is only around the corner now. In my opinion, we should fair much better against these guys. For starters we will have our 3 best players of the season back. Wilshere and Cazorla will be running the show in midfield and generating quite a few opportunities for our front players. I think our main ace will be Walcott, how well will their defenders cope with a fast, rampant Walcott through the middle. I personally wouldn't want him on the right wing playing against Lahm.

If we can go out and play our natural attacking game, but being more direct, I can see a win here. But we need to be quicker and show more urgency in midfield. Again, being more quicker and direct can win us the game and we have players like Wilshere who can do that in midfield.

As SJW pointed out, I think Bayern will have a lot of possession and we will be forced to play on the counter attack. Which might suit us better.

I think you'll do better at the Allianz than the Emirates but over 2 legs Bayern will have too much.

    First goal is massive.

I think it's a reasonable assumption, that if we get anything over the two legs it will be because Bayern bottle it.

There's little evidence to suggest that this current Arsenal outfit have the calibre to be able to impose themselves on any type of opposition, not least one of the best drilled sides in European football.

It depends how our forwards play.

If Giroud/Podolski etc.. have another lackluster performace we will get spanked. If they are sharp and and on their game I could see us getting a result.

    2:0 to Bayern

Bayern won their last game agains Wolfsburg 2:0, and everyone in the team said they were poor - no organisation, no effctive counterattacks, they only scored twice and they had to keep concentration at its maximum until the final whistle, and it was nervy. Because they were only two goals ahead....

Not very well, sadly. Only Barcelona are better than this Bayern team for me, they just have quality everywhere and players that can hurts us. We have been pitiful in the big games this season. Lost twice to Chelsea, Lost to Man Utd in another weak performance and then there was the City defeat at the Emirates. I just can't see how we can beat them with our current players and especially our current defence.

I'm not that optimistic for you guys Bayern are in ridiculous form at the minute and I love Kroos! However Walcott terrifies European defences and you've got Wilshere etc so I think you'll get a respectable loss possibly a draw.

When even Schalke, Wolfsburg, Hamburg are no match for this Bayern side that's when you worry. Arsenal need to come out the blocks and play with intent but I just don't see anyway Bayern don't get that away goal and it's a question of if not when Arsenal score at the Allianz

I think Bayern are starting a period where they can dominate Europe for the next couple of seasons. If Arsenal get any sort of result it will be an achievement <ok>

Arsenal have every chance in this game and now have a point to prove after being knocked out of the FA cup. I think if they take a real beating it could mess up there chances of 4th place in the league.

Best of luck anyway will hopefully be able to watch on Tuesday.

Don't necessarily agree with that. If we do get knocked out, it will mean that we just have the league to concentrate on.

Those 3 teams aren't exactly big hitters in the Bundesliga so I'm not sure why you're comparing them to Bayern. Schalke are down to 9th and have only 1 win in their last 11 league games and Wolfsburg are just hovering above the relegation zone.
