My favorite pair were Addias Forest Hills cost me £100 when I was 14 about 30 years ago. It was an expensive time being a 'Casual' wearing Pringle and Lyle n Scott jumpers. Hence I got part time cleaning job after school to keep me in my goodies, now I can afford things much easier I spend most of my leisure time slumped in trackie bottoms sweatshirt now called the 'Slouch Potatoe'

Happy to spread the gospel DT, been buying their shoes for years - ever since a ****ty pair from Next started "yapping" at the front after about two months wear. Nothing worse than seeing a man one respects wearing a **** pair of shoes.

Me too. I never thought people were that into shoes. I've got the same pair for years now and they only cost me about 50 quid. I don't ever wear any other shoes.
Loving this thread.....I used to work in Steve perryman Sports (yep that was me) for a few years. had more trainers than i can remember!. Outside of wearing Kickers, DM's and Wallaby's..it was all about trainers... Puma Advantage Addidas gazelle Samba, Mamba & Bamba Addidas Marathon Puma Villa's Adddas LA and the far superior Adi SRS Still got Adidas Stan Smiths to this day. hated Kick & all things New Balance. Started getting into Ascis now. Who could forget the Addidas "Adi-colour" A trainer/shoe where you could colour in your own stripes. Personally either left mine white or went with gold..ala Diadora's. What a great thread ! Never owned a pair of Nikes in my life-proud of that
