A leaked article from France is saying Ashley is in talks with someone who's willing to invest heavily into the club.

I personally don't know how to feel. I think we've got a good thing going with Ashley and Lambias. They're not perfectly but I think the staff are doing what's right by the club now.

We can achieve stability now and I don't think selling the club is the best idea. Just because you have a **** load of cash doesn't mean you're gonna be successful.

I suppose we could look at it in a different way. Our scouting system can find great players for cheap, so can it find fantastic players for big money?

Should we sell? What's your opinions on this?

I'll believe it when it happens, until then it's business as usual.

I don't think we've got that privilege, that belongs to Ashley alone.

If somebody with mega bucks to spare who's going to invest in the Club the way some other owners have ( Chelski/Man C style) then it won't be such a bad thing.

However as Pulpe say's, we've heard it all before and it's come to nothing.

It would be just like Newcastle to wait until FFP comes in before selling from a financially stable plan based on secure and sensible dealings to a badly thought through "lets throw money at the problem" regime.

I don't think there's anything in it but expect every London Hack to run it.

He's been linked to Rangers before though, something about opening a large store in Glasgow too.

Both Ashley adn Llambias ahve said any potential investor will have to buy a box at SJP to prove they're committed to the club. That's not to say they'd reject a huge, ****-off offer, but I doubt there will ever be one of those for Newcastle

 

You never know, a mega rich oil sheik might fancy joining the gang of Middle Eastern owners.

Been a few snippets about this in twitter. Lee Ryder doesn't seem to know much but has commented on it. Lambias also eluded to the fact in ine of his interviews that if a mega rich tycoon came in they would sell. Probably all rubbish this like but who knows.
