Great win for Cue Card and I am really pleased for the horse and connections.

I think he could be even better if they ironed out his jumping but he did that really well today. He has a real bit of speed and he and Captain Chris were well clear. Would have been a tight finish but Captain Chris might have just saved a bit for Cheltenham by not having that hard finish. Hopefully the blunder hasn't hurt him.

To the tune of The Beastie Boys' No Sleep Till Brooklyn:

"No ......... bets ............ till Cheltenham"

Taking a break from betting until the Supreme Novices. Struggling to pick a winner atm. Can't stand the racing prior to Cheltenham anyway - pundits and bookies alike trying to convince us that the Imperial Cup is a meaningful race <laugh> <doh>

Yeah nothing really worth noting now Oddy aside from the Adonis hurdle at Kempton to give us a better Triumph Hurdle picture.

To the theme tune from Scooby Doo

Oddy, Oddy, Oddy, where are you?
There's such a lot of work to do now.
    Captain Chris just cannot jump
And Real Milan jumps like a cow!

    Keep the faith :smiley-finger007:

Odddy I studied the form for the first time in months last night and backed Tatenen and Maxi Chop. One beat two home and the other was pulled up. Back to can't be arsed to study form mode after them results. Losing interest in the punting side of the game atm. Still love to watch but **** throwing away money every week.

Form is useless in jump racing, except from maybe at the highest level, alot of races come down to who jumps best on the day and there is no way of predicting that.

Well no lucky start for me on the fourm with my two selections, though Knock A Hand did finish 2nd and I backed him e/w at 14s so something back. If anyone had some winners today I salute you!

Was a pretty poor race though wooly did ya not think? Went no gallop whatsoever and he just had a better finish, not saying he won't win at Chelt but i wouldn't be confident based on that race.

I do agree river maigue is not a mug tho and the race got flipped upside for far west when he had to do all the donkey work, it shows he is all heart and he responds to pressure when ruby asked him even when he had been infront that whole time!

My personal take is that it was a 3f sprint race, won't be like Cheltenham at all.

That Henderson horse will win the Triumph - Rolling Star - absolutely hammered Irish Saint on debut and looked very, very special.
