He's overated but will do well at United. They can't afford him. 40 million? Are you forgetting our chairman is Daniel Levy, that's the deposit. Dream on, your envy is hilarious.
Get a grip. The British media have a habit of hypeing players way too much and this is the case with Bale. Its case of recyling the same old sh*t time and time again. This is his FIRST season where he has scored more than 15 goals and you claim he is worth £40 Million?? So that's almost three times as much as Juan Mata or Carzorla?? Come back down to earth mate, Walcott has 18 goals and 11 assists and apparently the guy has "no end product". The footballing press in this country are an uneducated joke. Who knows he might be worth that much one day but right now, he most certainly is NOT.
Everybody has a price eventually, if Bale wants to go, he will go. And you're not going to be getting the money you think you are with your silly quotes of plus 40 million. And you can save this quote down as well, to shove right up your ass when I'm proven correct.
Unfortunately there are teams with more money than sense nowadays, willing to go out and splash that level of cash. He isn't worth anywhere near that but lets not forget Liverpool buying Carroll for £35m. This still makes me shudder when i think about it.....
Stats are just stats, the game's played on the field but if you want to compare the two statistically, SSN just showed some of how the two compared in the Premier League season. Apparently Walcott shades Bale on minutes per goal(as you'd expect) but Bale has created over double the amount of chances(50 to 24). Stats are interesting but I'd take most of them with a pinch of salt but since you were interested I thought I'd let you know 23 year olds don't tend to get sold for their current value, or what you deem is their value so it's really neither here nor there. Bale has plenty of ability and potential and is a highly marketable asset so unless Bale tries to force a move any sale would have to be made on our terms which means meeting our club's valuation which will always be based on an optimistic prediction of what level he'd develop too, his value to our team and his marketability. I think we all know that Levy will be asking a very high price, guessing at whether Bale would force a move and how much other sides are willing to pay is as good as anyonelse's guess.
Because they play different positions? Lennon has come on leaps and bounds this season and I think every Spurs fan would agree he's playing his best football of his career.
My view has nothing to do with what the press say as soon as anybody has a little run the 'off to Real or Barca bandwagon' begins. It has everything to do with how Levy views these things. In the last few games Bale has done something spectacular in every one so his profile rises. Now he scores two stunning freekicks in one European game so that raises the profile even more. We have Russian clubs French clubs Spanish clubs and City with wagon loads of money if they become interested the price goes up again. Levy might just sell Bale if it funds our new stadium, otherwise it's in his interest to keep him. Even when Berbatov wanted out we still got 32 million and Modric similar. Bales profile atm is higher than both. Keep it up I am enjoying the envy.
Levy got burned the last time he tried to play hard ball over money. He might just well take the money this time, seeing as Spurs are posting losses and you want to build a new stadium.
Yeah sure of course he did. If Arsenal, Chelsea, City, United wanted him there would be an even higher price, just like Modric.
we proved you wrong with this on the Spurs board,so you bring it up again, knowing you are spouting Rubbish
He's a WUM tots, which is pretty poor for a Mod. Then again he is an Arsenal Mod so what would we expect.
