Posters repeatedly calling for fellow members to be banned has reached new levels recently. It seems like every post someone disagrees with, they call for that poster to be banned. Its pathetic and it makes a mockery of freedom of speech. Its the same people over and over again and you would have thought they'd be adult enough (not to mention democratic enough) to be able to stomach the fact that others might disagree with them. They want to spout their drivel time and again yet they want anyone who dissents to be gagged. They are hypocrites and cowards. Its the Moderators job to decide on any punitive measures up to and including bans. They're well capable of deciding when and where disciplinary procedures should be implemented and they don't need a bunch of narcissistic windbags telling them how to do their job at every turn. These people need to put up or shut up.

It's so easy...... All that the moderators would have to do is LOCK all the unsavoury, off-topic stuff as they come up. Full stop. That should make people quit putting those things up all the time. Even free speech comes with T's and C's under common law in the UK. I appreciate everbody is entitled to an opinion, but those that choose to make derogatory, abusive, or threatening comments have no place on this board.
LIUTB, there have been calls for bans posted on threads numerous times in the last week. Only last night Oddball was the victim of one. Oddball, its clear you were only doing it ironically to show up those who do it seriously. The OP wasn't meant for you mate. Yappy, with respect, that's a silly post mate. You're effectively calling for every non-QPR thread to be shut down. What kind of a Forum would that leave us with? An empty one I would say. What would people talk about during the Summer? It would be a Ghost-Board. All I'm saying is that if someone doesn't like what another person has written, they should either challenge it or ignore it and stop acting like a bunch of hyped-up old biddys.
