An interesting point was how this story came out on the news at 8am this morning. The BBC reporter allowed himself to be the subject of South African propoganda and was describing the incident as "a tragic accident". No one knows what happened - but he had been given some info and was following it hook, line and sinker - pathetic reporting. The BBC 6pm News was more realistic!
Shooting some poor bugger 4 times isn't an accident. It looks like he's really in the **** now, facing life in prison

Some great one liners that I can't beat. The Ellie Simmonds one made me laugh out loud. As for Pistorious I've never liked the guy, despite his undeniable achievements. Always came across as an arrogant ****er. There was credible research showing that his artificial legs gave him an unfair advantage compared to able bodied athletes, but he got his own experts in who gave evidence that he had an unfair disadvantage in other areas. If you look at what they said it was garbage. The politically correct IOC agreed and he was allowed to compete against able bodied athletes. Ridiculous pandering to an egomaniac. I've no idea whether he's guilty or not. I don't think he shot her four times. It was twice I think. But there's evidence of arguing going on just before the incident so I think he's in big trouble.
Ellie Simmonds lives in my old house (or at least her parent's bought it off my old girl years ago). Everyone crows about her being from Swansea but she's from Manchester and only moved down when she was 12 or 13. Read the Evening Post and you'd swear she had "Jack Bastard" tattooed on her.
Like my sons, she went to Olchfa. There's another one that isn't all she seems. Not well liked at school at all because basically she's a cow. Saw her once in Verdi's with her Dad and she was speaking to him like dirt. I'd have slapped her - disabled or not. Funny how people's public persona is different.
