"Former Leeds and Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson is odds-on favourite to land the role"

Hopefully that represents the chances of him (Simon Grayson) getting the job.

I sense another interview coming on.

"So you have had experience in League 1?"

"Yes, I certainly have, with Wycombe Wanderers"

"Great and what did you achieve with Wycombe Wanderers in League 1, play-offs, promotion, mid table?"

    "No I got them relegated"

OK Thank you. Someone will be in touch."

We need to get Ainsworth to sign the contract extension offered by the club asap to stop players getting distracted,we had poor early season form and don't want to go there again.Ainsworth has only been a manager in his own right for 5 mins surely he'd be better off getting more experience at Wycombe before moving up a division with a new club and set-up. :emoticon-0138-think

is everyone forgetting hes still got a contract means hes are player till the end of the season. if he was to leave i would like to see a great amount of compensation and i cant seeing him going back to Preston. they are a club moving in the wrong direction. plus in the bucks free he still said he was flattered with the interest but still has a job to do here.
