So after last night are Lfc going to stop all this nonsense about top 4?
Let`s face it they are as close to top 4 as they are to relegation, in fact they are 10 points closer to the bottom of the table than the top.
I questioned Astronauturf`s comment on Lfc`s rival watch when he said Pool were getting better.
I pointed out that spending a number of weeks in 7th position, Lfc had not consolidated it and that after playing WBA could very well find themselves in 9th.
Maybe my comment was a bit tongue in cheek but i honestly don`t see why Pool fans think they are getting better.

 

Questioning Astronauturf will explain those red bars then

Agreed Eric, but you can see why it was given - there was sufficient contact for the ref to award it, it was certainly no dive, though Suarez did milk it a bit.

 

Much easier to neg-rep if you can`t dispute what someone says.

Saying that as i have never done it, is it easier?

No there wasn't, Olsson was looking at the ball, Suarez was in front of him & felt the merest of touches on his back as Olsson rose to head the ball & that was his cue to crumple like a cheap suit. He was appealing for the spot kick before he even hit the deck. It was a blatant dive.

The referee had an awful night in general, he was a total homer.

Penalty any day of the week and any other fan would be saying the same if it was their team. It wasn't a little contact he clearly barges into the back of him.

Not that it matters, Gerrard also thought it wasn't a pen and did the fair thing in passing the ball back to the keeper.
