Norway, Always read and thoroughly enjoy your stuff even when I don't/can't comment, you've been a first class moderator and come across as a top bloke in general....this place will be very much poorer without you but I understand your decision totally. As usual you've hit the nail on the head fella.
Ok, ok....I will be mod. No, nobody needs to say anything. it's fine. Shame people are leaving the forum. I have a read of it every day, but never read the threads about mods or arguments, It's just boring...I don't even know who the mods currently are! It's Good to see threads about the football, and that's what it should get back to.
Why let the WUMS win? Moderators job is to be stronger than them. Wish I had the time, I'd take them on.
The forum would be boring if we stopped all the Wums. Don't mind the decent banter ones, but some take the piss.

This saddens me as I signed on to this site to avoid the slime that prowl another Swans Forum; by comparison not606 seems quite sane
sorry to see NJ quit as i believe he's been one of the best mods and posters we've had. but i can understand his reasons for getting fed up as too many threads degenerate into petty bickering and veer towards bullying - they're a real turn off. NJ hope your absence is short-lived and you're soon you back writing your insightful posts
I too am sad to see Norway bow out, certainly one of the top posters on the entire site, let alone the Swans board. Hope he will come back sometime soon.
I agree, HK. Although in the past NJ has pressed people's buttons here (ok mainly mine) with a view to getting a rise, being a mod really suited him and he rose above all that crap and we've both buried the hatchet. Since then his posts have been excellent. I genuinely think he's a sad loss to the forum. Hopefully, like me he'll take a break and feel all the better for it. There is far too much vitriol here at the moment aimed at not only fellow Jacks but fans from other clubs too. As one of my mates who's a bit of a hippy would say: "Bad karma, man".
NJ you've been a great contributor here and a good mod I think. The board will suffer for sure. Think i might hang around for a wee while, see how it goes, but I did quit for a few weeks a while back and the same feeling is coming back strong. Take it easy NJ maybe see you in future on here (or elsewhere if anyone knows a better forum?- tried planetswans but it's actually worse than this board!)
