12 points ahead surely means Manure are going to win the title this season especially with Citeh faltering as they are currently.

By the time Utd visit the Brit they will be champions so perhaps they won't bother to turn up. What will be the chance of Stoke getting a first PL win against them?

    None whatsoever.
Pulis thinks that "we are not worthy" etc etc. and it is a privilege to be on the same pitch as Man Utd and they have spent more miney than us ad bleeding nauseum.

Proud Potter Of course we have a chance of beating Utd at our place. It's ONLY Prof Clueliss who tells the player's and fan's we're not as good as they are. One game, one day. If ya don't try you will never find out. Will Utd ease up, not in a million years. Fergie won't allow it. I hear he was prowling the touchline today? And Utd we're two up.. shows what a great Manager he is. We've come close a couple of times to beating Utd, maybe this season we will.

Pulis will be in the Sentinel pre game telling us, as if we need reminding of what a difficult game this is going to be and how we should admire what they have achieved blah blah blah. He will be beaten before we start. I hope we do win them though as I have a bet with a Man U fan pre season that we would <doh>

Waddo , I hope you have very good odds for that bet. And Potts. , maybe siralec was on the touchline because someone "had let one go" in the dugout, maybe himself. More seriously though , Clulis does annoy with his pre-match "call to arms" . The players must feel beaten before they start. Did Joan of Arc , Henry V or Alexander the Great (the Macedonian not the Scot) urge their teams on with " they are twice as good as us so we have no chance , just do what you can" ? NO! These leaders inspired their teams to great victories by good planning and putting heart into their men. I wish.:emoticon-0107-sweat

Sadly the title race does appear to be over, but I cant see United letting up - SAF wants to make a point after last season.

We will sit back and see what Man U fans see week in, week out. We watch Pulis type football. It`s not the same.<doh>
