Villa v West Ham today

Before this weekend we needed to win our matches. After this weekend we need to win our matches. It's up to us. We cannot rely on others.

 

One less game to do it however.

 

I think I jinxed us starting this thread with 20 min to go when West Ham looked the more likely team to win this game. That Darren Bent block on the line proved a major turning point - if that had gone in, Villa would have likely rolled over.

 

Amazing how the refs can screw us over even when we don't play. It wasn't a pen or fk. I'm surprised he didn't give them another one for that embarrassing dive.

 

My four would have been HH, DJ, Rhodes and one other, possibly Remy and I said that at the time.
