Why doesn't Elmo take corners by the way? He's our best right-footed crosser by a mile. So why is it just the same useless balls from Koren and then Meyler's embarrassing effort when Koren goes off?
I just can't believe the whole team obviously didn't really know who was supposed to take it. Worrying.
I only really saw the first 70 mins, so if anybody had a storming/piss poor last 20 mins I apologise. 1. McShane 2. Elmo 3. Simpson? McShane was everywhere last night, he's easily been our best defender this season. Probably our best player actually. New thread coming up... Did they pronounce Gedo correctly when he came on? Sounded a lot like slang for "Jimmy Saville"... Bringing on Gedo and Prossy sounds very dubious.....
People don't understand what Meyler brings to the team with his ability to get box to box, even though he doesn't have a great amount of natural ability. Brady Meyler Elmo
I always wonder this, but hes a bit of an aerial threat so that could explain when korens on. Weve had some bad corners over the years but that Meyler one is about the worst.
