I'd just like to say thanks for the 3 points we really need them for our adventurous dream and push for a play off spot, I do however feel a draw would of been the fairest outcome as both teams had their ups and downs in the match however that bloody ref made it so much harder for both teams .... If im honest I think you should of had a couple of freekicks that wernt giving along with us but thankfully we didn't need them .... it's easy to see you deserve to be where you are in the table and I'm sure you will be come end of the season, I also hope (and pray) you can get good results against teams that are also looking for a play off spot and I hope you win big against the scum (palace) when you play them next.

Out of interest who would you say our 2 best players are along with our 2 worst

Thanks and good luck for the rest of the season <ok>

For me i think Vincente was obviously the main difference creativity, and your keeper kept you in it, i was impressed with Bridcutt but the other two made the biggest difference on the day.

I think you may get into the play offs, but i have seen better teams this year, and the play offs are very strong this year but i think you might be able to pip Boro to it.

Stuart Atwell was your best player, he even allowed your Egyptian centre back to barge practically our full wall out of the way when you took your free kick that won you the game.

Yep, outstandingly Atwell for me as your best player!

At the moment still fuming over the goal, you just aren't allowed to push the wall out of the way in association football
American Football yes but Association football definitely not.
And it was that slick please don't tell me it wasn't practised.
Wasnt watching Brighton that closely to be honest so couldn't say whowas two best/worst players. Obviously there must have been just can't think of two. Mackail-Smith was his usual busy self and always looks as if he has potential to be very dangerous

having watched the game it should of been a point a piece , no way can you rugby tackle a wall out of the way at a free kick ???? However this is honestly saying you ( Brighton) will not make the top six your not good enough , to be polite your like a worse version of us , like a hull city of last season , top ten yes top six just fall short .

Fettis, good point there, a lot like us last season. Very skilled players, too much pass it about, not enough forward surge. I don't know your team very well but whenever I see you play that will buckley always looks very direct, you should have him in the team more often.

Decent enough side but not top 6 for me sorry, not this year, from having seen both games against you this season. Saying that I think you are on a par with teams like boro, forest and Leicester desperately scrapping for that 6th spot but I've a feeling Blackburn will come good sooner rather than later and for me they've got either the best or second best squad in the league. I think they'll hop over everyone.

First half you were the better team.
    ,
Second half, we showed why we won't go up- because we create the chances but don't have someone to stick it in the net, despite making so many chances. Although, your keeper made some class saves.

Vicente mixed it up for you when he came on. He was more threatening then any other of your forward players. Although. his goal was ****e. If your keeper had conceded like that you'd be annoyed.

    Your keeper was rihgtfully MOTM.

I think look back in amber nailed it. Stuart Attwell was your man of the match. He seriously needs a visit to Specsavers. Though saying that Brighton looked the side up for it in the first half, we played you off the park for large parts of the second. You certainly did not deserve the three points but then neither did we.

I agree with some of the posts on here, watching you was like watching us last season - pass it along the back 4 until an opening go do a forward pass comes along, if they can't do anything with it pass it back and start again. Our possession stats last season were like yours for the majority of the game yesterday but hoping to win by a single goal is a risky business as we found out last year, I expect you to finish in the same position as we did around 8th. To answer your question I think Kusack and Bruno were your best stand out players, didn't pay too much attention to your team to give you two worst though.

Saying Attwell was Brighton's man of the match is churlish. He is and was an incompetent referee. Both sides (and the supporters) suffered from it: us perhaps more than Brighton. Answering the initial question: Kuszczak made some important saves and Bridcutt looked good. Mackail-Smith was a constant thorn in our side. With better finishing he would be one hell of player. He would feel right at home in Hull.

Our team is changing after our Premiership financial debacle and we are increasingly becoming a team of 'cucumber-pickers' from the continent and beyond, as is the fashion these days. However with the ever stronger non-english culture within your team, and your position much further down the British football demise, are you comfortable that any future success will be based on the local passion and pride of your club being sucked dry by mercinary all-comers?

Good money for picking cucumbers , I don't even know what you mean mussie , are you complaining about modern football , membership of the EU , foreign footballers , foreign workers , foreigners ?

Our owner is Egyptian and we have 3 Egyptian players in case you hadn't noticed

Back to the match the worst Brighton player is that El-Abd , bit of a thug , he's Egyptian isn't he ?

Churlish? He allowed a blatant foul when Brighton were in the process of scoring their winning goal, had he not allowed that goal to stand we would have been in second place today.

So, due to his incompetence, we came away with zero points whereas Brighton were allowed to cheat their way to all three.

"us perhaps more than Brighton"???..............................With a competent referee on the pitch we would have left Brighton with at least one point and in second place in the league, I'd suggest you get a grip!

Attwell had a poor game (he always does) but he's not the reason we didn't win the game.

That big fat zero next to our name is, and it's something that really needs addressing.

    On a side note, Gus Poyet's a bit of a **** isn't he?

and the tall skinny 1 next to Brighton's name was down to a totally inept Atwell, otherwise we'd currently be sitting second.
