Man City look absolutely ****ed. Biscan is spot on, rather than strengthening their squad they just squandered money on players that would get nowhere near city's starting eleven in 2010.

You can bet United won't **** about this summer and will get stronger, City have a lot of catching up to do.

I was speak to a friend today, who is a Man City fan and two things came up in regards to this thread.
    1. Like Biscan mentioned he felt they had wasted their summer and money in not bringing the right players whilst Man u were getting RVP. Pretty obvious that unless you win the title by a massive points gap, rather than goal difference, that the 1st XI is going to need a boost. He blamed Mancini for not recognising this.
    2. He felt Mancini would be out at the end of the year and that his achievements were overrated (first time I've heard a man city fan say this, most have a belief Mancini is some kind of god (until recently that this)). But he didn't want Maureen as the next manager, short term success longer term ****ed etc, he was more in favour of Klopp from Dortmund.

While I think Klopp would be a great manager for man city, I see the sheik going for Maureen just because of who he is.

I honestly don't care who goes there. Would make things interesting if Maureen goes there.

If a good manager goes there with the kind of resources available then they will tie up league and many cups for years to come.

Once Rafa is finished destroying Chelsea he could move on there for us.

I voted for David Platt, not the current #2 at Eastlands, but the Corrie character

Aguero is the biggest loss this season. He admitted over the summer he wanted to join Real instead of City, but had no offer from Real. Now he's won the league with City and they're out of the CL again he doesn't care about the rest of the season. Silva has also been poor, again probably wishing he was at Real or Barca.

Mourinho might be the only manager who's able to get City's squad to actually care about what happens to the team again. Any other manager and I think they'd need to clear out a lot of the big names and start from scratch.

Mourinho will go to United imo, I reckon Ferguson might pull a shock at the end of the season & step down.

if you just look through the list of city players registered for the prem it reads

Joe Hart, Micah Richards, Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta, Joleon Lescott, James Milner, Samir Nasri, Edin Dzeko, Scott Sinclair, Aleksandar Kolarov, Sergio Aguero, Gareth Barry, David Silva, Gael Clichy, Kolo Toure, Richard Wright, Costel Pantilimon, Carlos Tevez, Yaya Toure, Maicon, Javi Garcia, Mario Balotelli.

Lets be frank the talent registered is very mixed

With due respect to england barry, milner and lescott are donkeys. I laugh every time we play v nasri as he just runs insdie then passes back, Their defensiv eoptions are not great and their strikers were mad, plain bad or just hot and cold

It puts LFC in perspective when ricky lamber can destroy them while we draw 2-2- and think its an acheivement "cos they're a big team"
