Stoke are in no real danger of relegation, they have Jon Walters, Kenwyne Jones, Michael Owen and Cameron Jerome and Crouch is not going to increase in value. I though Tony was Arry's mate. I know it would have taken more than Crouch to save us today but just look at the difference Bobby Z made when he came on. We have to play a striker but we haven't ****ing got one who can last a whole game or who isn't ****.
We had a whole month transfer window and we knew we needed at least two strikers. We got one in who is now injured. Why wait to the last day to try and do business. Try someone from the championship or abroad who is not high profile, they couldn't be worse than what we now have.
Apparently it's because there is one particularly difficult to reach lightbulb at the Britannia Stadium - they just couldn't afford to let Crouchie go for fear of the dark.

Weren't Swansea meant to be after Jones as a replacement for Graham? Jerome was rumoured to have a few Championship sides wanting to sign him to help their promotion pushes. If they'd both gone he'd have needed Crouch still.

why would you want crouch. hes crap and dont score goals. harry has come in and brough just as much crap as hughes. plus he wanted joe cole lol harry always wants the same players.
