My footballing experience at the Dell was more in the 1967-1973 period. My Mum liked to shop at Debenhams and we would have coffee and lunch in their cafeteria. 3-1 final score, well done Saints. Losing 4-1 we were described as being "thrashed", as were Man City here.
With Ciseé gone, now DJ out on loan, we needed to seal both deals for Odemwingie & Crouch in the transfer window to give us striker options on the field & bench. Not scoring, we are never going to survive this season. 0-0 draws don't help us either. Re: match fixing, what was Barry up to with that o/g, almost showed intent?
That's what I need to do, drown my sorrows, but first must clean out my driveway of snow after the recent blizzard, a couple of hours of hard labour.
All 3 goals were dodgy, match fixing did indeed cross my mind watching that, it should be looked into. I still cant believe DJ went, why on earth didnt we keep him, he has to be better than Mackie or taarabt up front.
flyer that where lady luck kicks in. the saints are no better a team than qpr but they have a manager with guts and he motivates his players. All i see old harry do is blame the players or the ref and when he is not doing that he looks un interested lounging in his seat....them type of managers are fading away and a new young eager breed of managers are coming through. I think harry should retire and continue making adverts to top up his bank accounts here and abroad and give up ripping off clubs which he has had many....The game is changing rapidly and harry is not in that school..
Ill admit weve had no luck this season, the most blatant handball was not given today which really sums up the refs weve had however to get some attacking luck, we have to get in the area which we didnt do at all. Its the attitude thats wrong, our 1st half summed up the last months play and its not a hard luck story, we deserve to go down. If you think Harry is bad, you should have seen us under Hughes!
