Harry: âBig clubâ have made Samba enquiry Chris Samba 08/02/2013 by David McIntyre Harry Redknapp has suggested that he has already received at least one enquiry about recent signing Chris Samba. The QPR manager has hit back at reports the relegation-threatened club have taken a major financial risk by spending £12m on the defender. Redknapp insists Rangers could easily sell Samba for that amount or more if they lose their top-flight status. And he added: âI had a chairman ring me a week ago asking me about him. âHe said âWhat would you do if you went down?â and I told him weâre not going to go down. He said âWhat a signing â if [only] weâd known he was available.â âIâm talking about a big club. There will be big clubs wanting him, not a danger.â
Uncle Daniel's been on the telephone. Nothing to worry about though. Usual fare from Harry - more smoke and mirrors stuff.
4 1/2 year contract wasn't it, & Tony said "he stays if we go down, and we're building a team around him"
