Yes M'Lud. The defence juggernaut is just starting to rev up. I know i have not won a case for years but this year i shall crush the prosecution and emerge triumphant
That's not a fact though, it's an opinion. There's no objective way of working out who the best player in the league is. Somebody could claim that Santos is the best, for example. You could offer statistics to back up your opinion that he isn't, but you couldn't prove it.
I don't think you should laughing at all of HIAG's posts if that's your response. There's less holes in a tennis racket than that post
@spurf - your little joke about understanding our fears about defence would have had more effect if your own club hadn't conceeded the same amount of goals in the league as us
Firstly, I don't think there's anybody who would claim that Santos is the Premier League's best player and secondly whilst it may be opinion, I'd say it's pretty unanimous opinion, ask any Arsenal fan if they'd swap Jack Wilshere for Bale . . .
Stelling hasn't got a clue, he predicted us to be midtable at the start of the season. Reading down, when I saw the subtitle "glue" I thought it was going to be a passage about his drug experimentation after some of the things he came out with in that blog. There's plenty of comedy value in them for sure
I'm sure that they'd all make a totally unbiased assessment, too. Most fans would be unwilling to part with good players from their own side, especially those that have come through the ranks, virtually irrespective of what was on offer. When the other player's one that turns out for your rivals, it's going to be an even less popular choice.
A football fan will appreciate that both players are extremely talented. Would fans of either club swap one for the other? Probably not! They have different strengths and play in different positions. We need a bale more then a Wilshire and vice versa IMO
No. Aside from anything else, there are questions about Wilshere's fitness and his off-field behaviour. Bale's a match winner. They're invaluable. We could do with a player like Wilshere at WHL, though. We lack creativity through the centre. Haven't replaced Modric.
Bale if firmly in the shop window now after another fine performance and saving the spuds arses again today. I wonder if Mourinho will use his trip to Manchester in the Champions League to whet Bale's appetite with the lure of Champions League football with a big club.
What questions are there about his fitness? He's had one long term injury and somehow rival fans think that means he's injury prone
One long term injury can sometimes be all that it takes though, WO. He's playing well at the moment, but he's not been back that long.
Wilshere's main injury worry would be burnout, but I think he's over his long term injury. His off field antics are behind him too and that is not an issue. Bale is a top quality player, but he is nowhere near as dynamic as Wilshere. Bale needs to be in a team where his skill will be rewarded at the top level. He is better than the Europa league. I think Real will probably make him their top target this summer.
