The Desert Island Thread

Pick your three past/present Newcastle players, who in the unlikely event your plane to Stockholm (obviously not the unlikely part, it's lovely this time of year) breaks into pieces, and a row of four seats (probably genuinely unlikely, the Boeing 747 is the donkey/Swedish Elk of package holidays, and as excellent as the customer service is in Sweden, nobodies booking separate flights, transportation devices and hotels when you could be looking at porn within minutes) somehow attach themselves to a parachute-shaped piece of carbon fibre and you float down to an uncharted desert Island safely (don't worry about the other passengers, they make their destination and receive enough compensation to buy genuine 100% beef burgers #exotic), would be the companions you'd want, and explain why...

My three:

Williamson - To complete the castaway aesthetic, I'm going to want an inanimate object I can poor my soul to from time to time.

Ranger - Being Gandalf, I put my utmost trust in these folk.

Shola - Desert islands are hot, and if you haven't got a man with a plan, then a man with a cap is the next best thing (coincidentally how I convinced DT to date me... I lost the cap ). My neck burns easily.

 

I like this a lot. I will consider this on my journey home from work in about 10mins and return later................

 

Cabaye, Debuchy, Santon. Obviously Can't have Cabaye without Debuchy and I can't leave Santon so there we go!

 

Great, so while you're sunning yourself with three babes, our team limps along with the back-ups to CM RB and LB, which I have to watch with an empty seat next to me and broken heart

I'd also go for Shola, Willo & Ranger.

Reason? It means they will be far away from St James and no chance of playing. I will make it my personal mission to keep them there at all costs. I've changed my mind. All this personal sacrifice and living like a bloody monk have done my head in. My picks would be LTF, Minxy and DT. Sorry Gandalf, but somebody would have to take good care of them in such dangerous circumstances.
